This thread takes place in Shadelamp City, home of the Troper Troopers, valiant kid superheroes with attitude who defeat villains while doing classic quips!

You can either play as a Troper Trooper or a villain, and it’s basically like a Saturday Morning episodic kids cartoon… for the most part.

At one point, one of you finds out Shadelamp City… is a fake. You’re in a simulation and your friends are trapped with you. No matter how hard you try and convince either your fellow Troopers or the villains, they don’t believe you… so you’ll have to find proof.

However, a mysterious entity is trying to make sure you play your part… FOREVER.

Would anyone be interested in me running a new magical girl RPG where the premise is players all wake up in the bodies of magical girls, using the Maid RPG system to create characters?

Okay so the idea starts at the end of what was essentially a world war between two different powers. The Traditionalist faction which was led by the demons and the elves, and the Modernization faction headed by the humans and dwarves. The conflict started as the rise of more advanced weaponry and magical tools led to the declining state of the demons and elves. The war raged on for a number of years until the modernization faction finally pushed to the Great Forest which was the homeland of the elves. Seeing their defeat on the horizon and unwilling to cede even a modicum of their power the elves turned their entire Forest, their ancient homeland, into a massive bomb.

The war ended that day with tremendous casualties for the modernization faction but also with the other defeat of the traditionalist faction. However the losing side left behind one final curse with their defeat, the great Forest had been turned into a seed bed of curses and nightmares, from which twisted and horrible things would emerge. In order to combat the endless tide of nightmares a fortress city was erected right on the borderline. The city is a fully functioning if horrific place to live and those who are assigned to deal with the various creatures that come out of the Wasteland are either desperate, criminals, or fools. However even with the constant deaths at these positions it is still sought after for one specific reason, anyone who could survive 10 years in the position guarding the city will be granted land somewhere else in the Kingdom along with full pardons for any actions they had taken before.

Be better, because what is the harm in trying?

I'm not sure if this is a rp or just a writing exercise, but I kind of want to make a pop culture timeline for a fictional version of our world. Like we'd play pop-culture authors, game critics or whatever. and we'd write out articles about these fictional franchises in our version of the real world. The only rules I'd think I'd have would be 1.) Outside of pop-culture the history of this alternative universe is like ours when it comes to historical events and attitudes towards them. 2. ) We cannot mention real world media. 3.) We cannot contradict each-other in this settings "Real World ",(I.E.: If one guy says The Incredibld Bulk died in Marvelous comics in all of 1996 another player can't mention a comics story where he was alive in 1996). Would anybody be interested in that?
