Ok so since I just found this out I thought I'd share it in case anyone else missed it The scout windmills you can find? if you jump near them a lot, they'll pop open and a little helicopter note will pop out and fly off. If you then go to possum jump with angus, you find and read them
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"I can't help but feel like this would be in character for everyone.
baaaaaaaasically. Aside from maybe Germ. He's a really nice guy, just weird.
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"Well, I might have cast Selmers in the part that Germ was given in the video.
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes! You mean Scriggins?
Yeah, someone talked about that on Reddit where I found the clip.
Nah, in fact, I do mean Selmers / Selma the streetside poet. It just feels weirdly appropriate.
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!Makes perfect sense to me! but also, I'm basically gregg here so :P
Also angus semi-canonically probably sounds kinda like The Mighty Mighty Bosstones vocalist.

"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"I would pay money for proper versions of the songs from this game :P
Just finished it this morning, sorta just skim-read this thread. I like the game a lot. I agree that the Eldritch Abomination stuff was a little bit out of nowhere, but not really, it was fairly strongly hinted that something weird was going on, just the exact nature of it wasn't really set up.
Otherwise, I really liked... everything, really. Great characters, great writing, great mix of very down to earth and human problem, along with the supernatural angle. I wanna play through again, see the stuff I missed. Is it possible to fill the sketchbook in a single playthrough, or does it carry over or something?
ennnnjoy :D
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"Oh wow. For someone who really sucks at gaming, this is really drawing me in. I love the art style, and the characters are memorable as all fuck.
Fortunately, this game doesn't have many parts that need your reflexes. Unless it's Demon Tower... :)
I may have experienced a "shapes" phase when I was younger. At one point in third year high school I just "realized" that I have no real friends and suspected all of my classmates of being liars, traitors and backstabbers (not that any of them deserved it, though). Needless to say it didn't go over well and I don't have contact of any of my high school friends anymore.
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!Honestly, the rhythm game gave me a lot of trouble because I've literally never done one before.
At least we don't need to ace the rhythm game to proceed. :)
Also, it is easier on keyboard.
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!also there are a pair of achievements for the bass sections. one for bombing every single song, and one for NOT bombing /any/ song Also remember that the game autosaves on screen change, so you can quit the game and restart to give it another go.
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"Yeah, there are very few sections that need any skill, and as far as I know there are no game over conditions anywhere (if you perform a song badly, you just performed badly and the scene moves on to reflect that).
Only bit I had trouble with was one of the dreams had a weird bit of platforming it took me a few tries to get right, and it was annoying because missing the jump or whatever dropped you waaaay back. There was a fair bit of backtracking, within the one small area, in that dream even if you didn't mess up.
I was using a keyboard for the rhythm game. My problem was i was always a hair off no matter how quick I was, because my reflexes are shit. But again, it doesn't affect the game.
What I'm gathering is that this is good for people who suck at playing games, like me
Okay, I'm stuck. Where do I find Angus? I've gone back and forth between the Snack Falcon, the video store, and the apartment complex, but I can't find him.
Are you trying to get Mae's computer fixed? Just go to their apartment building and get up to their room by fooling around with the call board.

I did fool around with the call board. Did everything I could think of. Hit every button in varying combinations. No dice.
and how do I do that? I've hit all the buttons
I... I am really shocked people have such difficulty with that part! It's like, the single most logical solution "try poking it anyway"
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"
And the college one was Max asking out a girl going wrong, right?
It's been 3000 years…
