I like Hawk, but I don't like characters recovering from heroic sacrifices. Especially not immediately after making one.

I agree with Arha, Hawk is dope but it always cheapens things when a heroic sacrifice isn't a sacrifice at all. Looking at you Gai.

Anyone noticed how Hendricksen motivation went "Release the Demons so we can fight them" to "Release the Demons so we can destroy the other tribes."? It seem he completely crossed to the other side.

Who is translating the anime? They're making some lines the exact opposite of what they should be saying.

So if I had to guess Melodias can accumulate the attacks over time before releasing the back all at once. At least I can't come up with any other explanation for this strategy.

I could think of a few other things. Like Hendrickson's attacks have demonic energy which he absorbs to gain power, or that he's baiting him into a real huge attack that he can reflect. Or he could be a masochist with a horn fetish.

Probably late, but Netflix picked up the rights for it and will brand it as an "original", like they did with Sidonia.

While I personally support it, since in my country Crunchyroll's lineup sucks and Funi ain't available, some people are less than happy.

Episode out, though I don't plan to watch it yet. I did find something interesting though, which is that Helbram and Hauser already have voice actors and they don't appear for quite some time. No Gowther though.

It's probably going to end at Byzel Tournament arc.

I wonder if this is really going to be the end of the manga or if there's going to be more. Escanor still hasn't made an appearance.

Escanor has not made an appearance. The weapons are still unaccounted for. We don't know why Merlin seemingly betrayed the other sins. Arthur really hasn't done enough to justify his existence apart from an Arthurian-ish work kind of requiring him. Ban and Meliodas are still at odds. We don't know why Meliodas destroyed that one country, if he did. We don't know why the goddesses want Meliodas dead, if that really was them.

There's probably more but that's just stuff off the top of my head. If the manga is ending here the author is much worse at writing than I thought.

He finished Kongoh Bancho at around this number of chapters, I believe.

The story is obviously not over yet, and given that the anime is airing right now, I doubt it suddenly became unpopular enough to warrant cancellation.

Hmm, if it does end now, pity that Hendricksen was pretty much a tool

Pretty short, but we get two interesting points: What Mel's sacred weapon looks like, and that Hawk might be a reincarnation of Mel's previous animal partner.

I believe Suzuki Nakaba has said he has an idea how long this will run for, and we're only at a certain point in it.

I wouldn't be surprised if Escanor ends up as a villain.

Episode out. That Gilthunder, you can tell deep down he's a nice guy by the way he fatally wounds civilians and walks off without a backward glance.
