Chapter out. Ngl, eagerly awaiting for the moment (if any ever comes) Lancelot gets his ass kicked.

I guess they have to hype him up due to Lancelot's reputation in Arthurian legends, but yeah, it's getting ridiculous. Still, I'm glad Percy got his own victory.

Oh good, we're back to the main plot.

And we got Percival's full origin story in this chapter. Ironside found a dead baby (heavily implied he killed him first) and infused a "Life Spirit" to keep the body alive enough to put Diodra's soul into the vessel and save his life. Ironside argues the the spirit is a blank slate and has no soul, so it's okay to do this. Varghese was disgusted by this and kidnapped the baby. He raised the baby as his own grandson, and his love caused the spirit to develop into the Percival we know.

It's...a lot.

Man considering how well he knew his origins Ironsides planned that out pretty darn hard. Wonder if he was jealous that the King(?) got seven healthy kids compared to his sickly child. Grandpa's reaction was honestly pretty understandable, even if it maybe wasn't the best one.

Who knows if we'll see more of that confrontation. Maybe Ironside picked them at random. Maybe he planned it. Less likely, but he could be telling the truth and it was a genuine accident or Arthur's machinations.

Chapter 128: End of Part I

Percy's seemingly dead (for now), the other two of the Four Perils come out, and Arthur's ready for invasion. And it looks like we might be a time skip after this.

Chapter reminds me of when Mel died for the first time lol. Guess we're going an arc or two without him?

Gwen is a fucking mess on the inside, I love it. I was worried we wouldn't see her again for ages.

I figured she'd show up around the time skip, since she made a big deal to Lancelot about meeting him at different times in their lives.

Speaking of, new chapter: Arthur wasted no time in making his move after Percy's disappearance. Gwen looks conflicted between her love for Camelot and the high price of its creation. I'm also surprised by all the prominence of the remaining Seven Deadly Sins, between the future vision and Ban's confrontation in Mead's village.

Also, in anime news, the first cour is coming to Netflix globally on January 31st.

Once they beat Arthur, how are they going to get the land back in place? Diane's earthmancy will help, but I don't think even Ban could grab a river.

Chapter 130.

...Well, I guess that's one way to give an OP character development. Good to know that yelling "MOOOOM!" when you're in danger is a good idea even in medieval Britain.

Seriously, though, abandoning his ego and going back home is the most common sense Lancelot has shown since this series began. I didn't think he had it in him.

I guess now the only question is how many mirrors he broke on his way out of the Lake.

I'm interested in what they'd do about the people already living there. Will they just be displaced if New Camelot is dissolved? Will the people who took Arthur's offers be branded as traitors?

As for the latest chapter...eh. Ban trashing Ironside wasn't that surprising. It's very satisfying that he did it for a grieving Lancelot, though.

I'm surprised that Ironside's slashing seems to be Sylph magic instead of his own? I mean, it's still his own, but not quite as directly.

Well, apparently the human and magical worlds are going to be divided, so maybe the ex-Arthurians will stay on the other side? IDK.

Chapter 131: we get our first look at post-time skip Anne and Sylvan, the latter who is now a Pegasus, for some reason.

Also, it looks like Arthur can't actually revive the dead. He can just create illusions and rely on mind control and threats to keep people "happy" in Camelot.

Makes sense I guess. He lost the full power of CHAOS thanks to the cat.

I kinda doubt fully reviving the dead would ever be possible even with the full power of Chaos tbh. It'd be more interesting if he actively fucked with reincarnation instead, since that's a thing we know is possible in the series, but it might've been a little more fucked up.

New chapter has been translated: Now we see an older Donny, who looks a lot like a younger Howzer. He also has upgraded his Telekinesis. Poor Sylvan doesn't stay a pegasus, though.

Also, I guess the revived people AREN'T illusions since they can interact as any living being, but they still seem bound to Camelot, though.

It's interesting how Lancelot flips between his fairy passivity and human dynamism. When he runs out of energy, he REALLY runs out, as shown by his current absence (and maybe his sleeping during Percival's wolf fight in the beginning). Otherwise he's working all the time.

Is it too much to hope that he's sending letters to his non-Percival students while he's holing up in Benwick?

I feel like the Nazis are getting more backstory than the actual protagonists.
