It's weird, we're getting a lot of decent-looking VN adaptations this season
A schoolgirl series about fighting monsters, maybe

new anime-original mecha show from sunrise
I'm hyped because the premise screams awesome (giant robots vs dragons? HELL YES!) and I don't mind the fanservicey mecha suits (it's not the first time I see fanservicey pilot suits, and I like fanservice, so I'm not gonna complain)

DID SOMEONE SAY GIANT ROBOTS VERSUS DRAGONS?
FALL CAN'T COME SOON ENOUGH
MMORPGs are serious business.Heck yes giant mecha vs dragons.
Those pilot uniforms aren't fanservice, they're horrid.
Super Robots? Dragons? In one place? Sold!
Looks interesting.
Still can't shake the feeling that like Frank Miller after Sin City, Code Geass has pretty much caused the entirety of Sunrise to go rather cuckoo for Coco Puffs.
I've seen much worse in the way of pilot's uniforms.
What would worry me is the apparently all-female cast and the whole "getting outside of the mecha during combat" bits. It seems like a bit of an attempt to ride on the popularity of shows like Idolmaster and Love Live.
Wha...? All-female casts have been common for a while now, easily predating the surge of idol series. And I don't see what getting out of the robot has to do with anything
All-female casts are typically found in shows that are more about the girls than they are about the plot. Likewise, getting outside the mecha suggests something very heavily on the side of (silly) super-robots versus real-robots. Both of those are fine; they just suggest a formula I don't typically find interesting or enjoyable.

All-female casts are the natural progression of harem leads getting more and more unassuming and generic to the point where they disappeared entirely and no one noticed.
and it was for the best.
I enjoy stuff with all-female casts , like Symphogear, Vividred Operation and Hyperdimension Neptunia amongst others, so I don't consider all-female casts to be bad.
and getting out of the robot while it flys on midair to shoot screams AWESOME! to me, so it's fine.

Those uniforms makes me want to deck them right in the stomach.
people complaining about the uniforms should take a look at the pilot suit worn by Aqua (Super Robot Wars MX)

Yeah, Fanservice mecha pilot suits have been a thing for a while. One of these days I want to someone pilot a mecha in a ballgown or something.
I get a So Bad, It's Good vibe from it. Which is the good thing about a ridiculous premise like that. You get a bit of a fallback plan.
while I can easily ignore the fanservice factor
it seriously bothers me how their clothes are designed
because of the cuts and the way it somehow oozes blandness
like
it's not even very good at being fanservice I mean
MMORPGs are serious business.Mechs fighting dragons resonates strongly with my soul.
Same here.
Watch SymphogearI suppose I have something to look forward to now.
Okay... I've got to ask. Was that a deliberate Escaflowne reference or not?
What about dragons fighting in mechanised armour?
And those suits look silly, though if the camera isn't too focused on them I should be able to ignore it.
A blog that gets updated on a geological timescale.@Mecha's vs Dragons. Who's doing the music score for that series. Because it sounds like they hired the team that does music for Ar Tonelico. And that's not a bad thing.
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2Ar Tonelico had quite a few different people doing the music
But, yes, it's Shikata Akiko
Okay, as reported f/sn is going for UBW. Split-cour, which I'm not sure how they're going to make work without shoving in a lot of Fate. Or cooking
Also Nanatsu no Taizai
