1937 saw one of the bloodiest strikes in years lasted through the summer as the Steel Workers Organizing Committee struggled to capitalize on their success with the so-called "Big Steel" companies by pushing on to "Little Steel". Unfortunately for the union, the smaller companies were more resolute in their resistance to unionization and the strike turned violent...
So why is this in RPG sign-ups? Because what signals summer RP fun like labor unrest, right? The idea would be for those interested to be spread out between company, city/county/state officials and strikers in a fictionalized setting somewhere in northern Ohio during the Little Steel Strike. There'd be a pretty heavy reliance on inter-character interaction from players, so keep that in mind if you're interested.
Let God do His work, we will see to ours.
Bring in the candles.
