I'm most definitely in. I'm thinking I might go for a Malkavian (though I'll try to go for realistic mental illness, not a loony toon), a tremere or a Gangrel...
Either way I'll try and get a sheet up soon. Hope more people join in!

Definitely interested. Not sure what clan I want to belong to, Nosferatu, Ravnos, Tremere, Malkavian and Giovanni all hold interest

Trump delenda estI'm leaning towards either Brujah, Tremere, or Lasombra.
I think I've got a decent concept for a depressive Malkavian. I'll get to work on a sheet soon.

Now they have set their eyes on Manhattan to extend Sabbat influence in New York City.
What I've got so far... The rest should be done by tomorrow. • Name: Lita 'Low' Waalwjik
• Gender: Female
• Appearance: Lita Waalwjik, or Low as a number call her, appears to have been embraced in her early twenties and is of Dutch descent. Tall for a 'young' woman, standing only an inch or two from 6 feet and somewhat gangly with long legs, arms and fingers but of a spindly, though athletic build. Her face is rather pretty and exudes a friendly air though her intense, dark eyes contrast these softer features. Her hair is dirty blonde, crew cut at the back and sides with a long-ish fringe sweeping stylishly across her forehead.
Like all kindred her skin is deathly pale but her entire arms and upper body are covered with dark slashing scars. Unless an apparently special occasion comes up Low generally wears a set of loose burgandy corduroy pants and a white tank top with a print of Andy Warhol style soup cans on it. Her dirty old runners have so many holes it's a wonder they have any sole left.

• Backgrounds
Generation: 2 (11th)
Herd: 2 (7 mortal vessels)
Status: 1 (Anarch)
• Equipment: Old notebook, 2 sets of spare guitar strings, a few stringed instruments (ukulele, various guitars/bass guitars), there is an upright grand piano in her Haven but it is doubtful she paid for it.
• Description: Lita Waalwjik was embraced against her will in the early 1980's though what exactly happened is known only to her and her sire - Even her life before is kept intentionally a mystery aside from a few vague details, having apparently been the promising understudy of a concert pianist until an incident of some kind. Since then Low, a nickname her derangement has earned her, has spent her subsequent unlife sporadically investigating the darker secrets of this world and occasionally 'pranking' mortal and kindred alike with Malkavian flair. That is, inbetween near catatonic periods of depression and the occasional experimentation with suicide.
Her love of music has only increased since her death into a near obsession and a distraction from her shattered mind. Low is often found composing songs describing the twisted truths of her new perspective of the world. It is an activity she often shares with her 'herd' of mortals - all of them close to snapping themselves, acting as a sort of guide through their insanity. Not even many of the Anarchs share her sympathy for these humans though in truth the 'sane' barely draw any attention from the Malkavian unless they annoy her.
Lately her investigations have suggested a force more troublesome and dark than usual is encroaching on the city. Curious and bored as ever, Low has decided to seek it out.
After all, maybe it'll finally get her killed.

“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”We need two more signups to start.
Hmm. I'm surprised there hasn't been more interest yet.
If this does get going, how much emphasis is going to be on the tabletop/dice-rolling mechanics?
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”Not too much, but it will be present to a limited degree.
If it helps I've decided on a Clan, Ravnos.
Trump delenda estExcellent
Anybody else? We need at least one more signup to start this.
I have a fair bit of interest in the WoD/Vampire IP (I've read though some of the core Requiem books, and have played the old Vampire Masquerade Redemption game), but this character sheet is very numbers-heavy for an RP and feels inaccessible to someone like me who's never played the proper game.
I could probably push through and make a guy, but I feel like I'd be stumbling around cluelessly in the setting. If someone was willing, maybe I could be introduced to some of the world in-character.
Edit: I'm interested in the Tzimisce, if that's not too crazy.

Flesh is a design flaw.I definitely have interest and I'd probably play an Assamite, if that's ok.
Wait! ... Ok, you can go now.Yay, more people!
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”I couldn't find the old rulebooks, but I think I made due with a more recent edition. Tell me if I badly screwed up.

I managed to download a pdf of the 2nd edition. If you're desperate for a look I'll see if I can find a link...

Accepted
The RP will hopefully start tomorrow, as I will be busy tonight.
...Space for one more?
I'm reading over the 20th anniversary rule book now. Never play the vampire tabletop game before but fell in love with owod after bloodlines
hashtagsarestupidI'd say so (there's only 3 sheets so far) and our merciful GM hasn't stated any character number limits.
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”Yes, there is plenty of room.
Main RP: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=14009958670A55384400&page=1#1
Alright, this is an RP based on the Old World Of Darkness, starting out with Vampire The Masquerade (though we will add in Werewolf The Apocalypse, Mage The Ascension, and other game lines in as the game expands and grows), specifically the very first editions of these games. The infamous metaplot that plagued the Revised Editions of the World Of Darkness games are not in play, so there's no need to worry about that.
However, the game is set in the timeline of 1e and 2e Vampire and Werewolf, and that timeline is The '90s. It is Autumn, 199X, the internet as we know it is in its infancy, cell phones are a luxury item only used for making calls, and Bill Clinton is in the White House. 9/11 hasn't happened yet and the Cold War has ended peacefully. But unknown to mortals and beneath all this, is a realm of supernatural monstrosities and Gothic Punk horror.
The year is 199X and the place is New York City and the surrounding metropolitan areas. Though New York City is nominally under the domain of the Camarilla, the Sabbat, Anarchs, and Independent Clans have a lot of influence in the city, particularly outside of the Camarilla-dominated Manhattan making the Big Apple truly disputed. Meanwhile, the werewolves of the Garou Nation, sworn enemies of vampires and all things Wyrm-tainted, are trying their best to survive in places such as Central Park and the forests of New Jersey.
This is an RP centered around 1990's New York City, specifically Manhattan and the suburbs in New Jersey, though the other four boroughs as well as Long Island and New York State may come into play later as we add in the other game lines of the Old World Of Darkness.
The following clans and sects are playable at the start of the game.
The following Sects are playable as they all have presence in New York City and New Jersey...
Here are the rules for the RP
Signup sheets are as follows....
Vampire Signup Sheet (7/5/3 for Attributes, 13/9/5 for Abilities, 5 for Backgrounds, 7 for Virtues, 3 for Disciplines, 15 Freebie Points)
