Highlander RP Interest Check

From the dawn of time we came; moving silently down through the centuries, living many secret lives, struggling to reach the time of the Gathering; when the few who remain will battle to the last. No one has ever known we were among you... until now.

It is the time of the Gathering, nearly every Immortal in the world has come to New York City to fight until only one is left standing. The winner will walk away with the combined power of every Immortal to ever walk the earth, but who the winner will be is yet to be seen. In the end, There Can Be Only One.

So, this is an RP set in the Highlander Universe. Your character can be an Immortal or not, that choice is up to you. For now I'm just seeing if there's enough interest to actually do this. Feel free to ask questions if you don't know anything about the setting or want to know more about what I have in mind.

• Name: (What's your real name? Note: Please no MacLeods, as much as I love the clan there are 5 in the series already)
• Alias/Nicknames: (Do you still use your real name or do you operate under a false name to avoid arousing suspicion?)
• Age: (No cavemen please)
• Physical age: (Anything under the age of 18 will be rejected outright)
• Appearance: (Picture links or a description is fine)
• Culture of Origin: (What culture did you live with before realizing you were Immortal?)
• Personality: (How do you act around Mortals and your fellow Immortals? Do you see your Immortality as a curse or a gift?)
• Occupation: (Optional. Does your Immortal have a job or is s/he just a wanderer?)
• Weapon of Choice: (Swords and Axes are the preferred weapons of Immortals. If you can come up with a reason why your Immortal would be able to take someone's head off with a blunt weapon go ahead and use one. Also, keep it realistic. If your sword seems like something I'd see in a Final Fantasy game I'll ask you to change it.)
• Bio: (How did your character realize s/he was Immortal and what have they done with it?)

Go for it, I'll be posting character sheets later tonight.

Character sheets for Immortals are go! I'll make some for Mortals if that's of interest to anyone.

• Alias/Nicknames: “I enjoy using the name Dante Caesar a new name, for a new illustrious age, however, I have been given many, many different names, Ed Gein for example, was a nice one, enjoyed that.”
• Age: “I've been here since before the cities, that's all I shall need to tell you.”
• Physical age: “Two decades, and nine years.”
• Appearance: “I am a man of average build, rather unkempt with brown hair and eyes, bronze skin. I prefer to wear finest suits of italian silk and human leather,I also have taken to wearing this, a stainless steel collar, to keep my immortality.”
• Culture of Origin: “Illustrious rome...a pity it's fallen so low.”
• Personality: “If I may quote my psychiatrist, I exhibit a condescending view on humanity, with a god complex, I see my taste of human flesh as a way to maintain that godhood, I am narcissistic, perverted, and...I am glad I took that stupid bastard's head.”
• Weapon of Choice: “I take great joy in using a hacksaw, however, when my foes prove to be...disagreeable, I use a Congo Executioner's sword-I can simply use it to smash through my enemy's defenses! I even had one made, special for me...I also have a gladius, just for tradition's sake, though I will not hesitate to use it. I also wear a stainless steel collar, it helps with keeping the immortality.”
• Bio: “Well, Assassination attempts are a great way to see one's durability, and so, I've gone on trips, and got many new names, Jack the Ripper, Ed Gein...and other such names, I take pride in what I do, thankfully, and luckily for me, I can start a cult with the homeless flesh in this city, it's quite amusing what healing can do...”

Everything's okay except I've got one question to ask about the collar. Can Dante/Caligula's head still be taken with it on, or does it completely cover his neck?

It can, it's not invincible, it just makes taking it off harder, and it only protects about the middle half of his neck, so there's if you cut above or below it, you can take his head off.
