Question: In Arctic Rim, is Anna brain-dead, or in a coma? If it's the latter, there's hope (and a possible awesome sequel), if it's the former, the depression multiplies.
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver! There's a recurring theme in several fictions of Hans being the sisters' butlers.
You know, as if this was Seinfeld or something lol
I haven't seen any like that, but this has piqued my curiosity. Are any of these "Hans butler" fics any good? How does he become their butler? Does he still try and discreetly kill them? I'm getting a mental image of Hans going, "Your sandwich is ready, Princess Anna!" and there's a ticking bomb inside. Actually, that could still work in the context of the movie without him being a butler, now that I think about it...
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon. It sounds like brain-death to me.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatYou know, there's no brain death in the fanfic with the sloth. It remains a happy, healthy sloth and it's not depressing at all. Just sayin'.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.I need to work on the second half of that.
Looking for some stories? The sloth one or Arctic Rim? Because if you wrote Arctic Rim, you're awesome.
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver! He wrote the sloth one. Which still makes him awesome.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon. We were trying to have a conversation about Arctic Rim, actually. I'd appreciate if you'd stop derailing every time it comes up.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI'm not stopping you from talking about whatever fanfic you want in this thread. It's fine.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon. In that case...
I feel as though Anna almost HAS to be brain-dead or otherwise permanently indisposed to keep Team Frozen Heart down and hammer in the point that this is the beginning of the end for the Jaeger Program.

Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatYes, but if she's only comatose, then we get an awesome sequel.
I think it should take the best of both worlds: Love can thaw a Frozen Heart (Anna wakes up, Pacific Rim happens with the sisters) but also There are no heroes in a world where heroes can't die (They die in the end).
That's not an awesome sequel, that's the movie with two more deaths.
I look at this, and I see a story that, like Pacific Rim, doesn't necessarily need a sequel, as it wraps up everything in one package.

Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatIn the meantime, plotbunny: Elizabeth (Bioshock Infinite) opens a tear into Arendelle. Hilarity Ensues?
Also, to answer earlier question:
I was unaware there was a difference between "brain-dead" and "coma". The open-endedness was very much intentional, not the least because I couldn't decide on how I'd want to end it. You *could* read it optimistically as Anna survived and made a full recovery but because (as far as I could tell from research, anyway) non-ruling royals apparently don't really have any duties, that's why Elsa has to constantly fly back to Oslo but Anna isn't with her. Alternately, you could rewatch Pacific Rim and catch the little line of dialogue from when Stacker is recruiting Raleigh - "You were, in fact, my first choice [of pilot]. All the other Mark-3 pilots are dead."
Buuuuut, I *was* toying with the idea of a sequel. Main blocks come from the fact that I don't know if I'd have the patience to work out just how I'd mesh it with the events of Pacific Rim proper, as well as how I've pretty much mined most of the usable Frozen references already.

The difference between brain dead and coma is that comas can actually be recovered from.
But anyway, it's a really good fic. Depressing as fuck, but good.
Still kinda wish you'd go for "True Love Thaws a Frozen Heart" and "There are no heroes in a world where heroes can't die".
I think Anna dying works better in the context of fitting this within Pacific Rim's timeline.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatSo everybody in the main Frozen thread has decided to pair Elsa with Captain America. I think this is dumb... The REAL OTP is obviously Elsa x Superman! She can hang out it in the Fortress of Solitude! It's thematically appropriate! Besides, Cap is probably pretty sick of ice by now.

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.-Yoinks him offstage with a hook-
SPEAKING of Elsa x Cap, I'm trying to imagine what Elsa's reaction to seeing Steve in action for the first time would be, like beating up ten HYDRA agents, or whatever. The easy option is swooning, but I don't know if Elsa would do that.
My various fanfics.I really can't imagine Elsa being all lovey-dovey. She seems more like the stoic, rational type. Well, at least by the end of the movie.
Also, Superman has frost-breath, so they could go around freezing things together!

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.I imagine raised eyebrows.
Looking for some stories?Elsa communicates all complex emotions exclusively through her eyebrows.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.Read my story. Read it. Read it. Read it.
It's a friendship story crossover with Teh Big Four with 2 members of their supporting cast.
Best of all, no crappy shipping because I'm not hormonal stress teenager. lol

"Hey, hey, Tiger! How'd it go? Did ya knock her off her feet?" When the Boyscout didn't say anything, Tony sighed, flopping halfway over the couch. "Okay, I get it. Didn't go so well. I'm sorry." He looked up at Steve with genuine regret. "I should've told you. I just....I dunno. You always seem so miserable. I was hoping I could get you back out in the world and...stuff." Before Tony could go any further, Steve wrapped him in a sudden, powerful hug. "Oh! Hey! Wow!" Tony shouted in surprise, wincing slightly. "Okay, okay." He said, chuckling. "I guess it went pretty well?" Steve beamed, tussling Tony's hair.
"Thank you, Tony. So much." Tony pulled himself away from Steve with a grunt, clutching his back. "No problem," he said, grabbing an apple off the counter. "Just, don't take up chiropracting as a hobby." Steve looked perplexed, then Tony remembered chiropractors didn't exist in the 40s, and waved a hand. "Never mind, future stuff." He took a big bite from the apple, and talked with his mouth full. "So, what's she like?" Steve sighed wistfully, swinging his feet up onto the couch. He never did that, so Tony figured Steve must be in a REALLY good mood.
"Her name's Elsa. And she is just....amazing. Her eyes are just....beautiful. They're big and blue and...." Tony butted in "We're talking actual eyes here, right?" Steve rolled his eyes and lobbed a cushion at Tony. "Like I was saying. She's gorgeous. And she's very sweet. She's actually really funny. But...that took a while to find out, because she's pretty shy." Steve frowned, and Tony flopped over the couch again, invading Steve's personal space and looking him in the eye.
"So why do you look so glum?" Steve shrugged. "Like I said. She's shy. So I just...you know, couldn't read her. I dunno if she likes me." Tony shrugged. "Eh. Wait till the second date before you give up, buddy." Steve gave a small smile. "Well, this is the first time I've ever gotten past the first date. So, thanks again, Tony." He sighed, looking out the window. "I just wish I knew what she thought of me."
I'll add the Elsa and Anna discussion later. Unless someone else would like to...>.>

My various fanfics.
Goodness. All the fanfics are becoming super dark and depressing. We need something upbeat. Here, these two aren't depressing. And neither is that sloth one from earlier. Sloths are the opposite of depressing.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.
