"Not all of them are like that! I'm truly sorry for your losses! But how does classifying all of them as evil make you any better then that douchebag!?" Jack gestured at Gaston. Yes, he could understand her rage, but still...

Gaston growled at Remus.

"The hell was that?! The birdbrain attacked me! It's perfectly within my rights to defend myself! So, piss off, animal lover!"

And with that, Gaston reached for his back for his weapon, but before he could draw it, his cronies has grabbed his arms and started dragging him off.

"Calm down, boss! You wanna get expelled before we even get there?!"

I'm out of this conversation, Rufous went back to watching the clouds.

"It's nice ta meetchyall, but, uh, I have a bit of an obligation here." Ayers sauntered up to Gaston, and took out his scroll. "Now, let's just all calm down." He held up the sleek palm of Naeg to the raging students. "Gaston, how about we exchange numbers? I'll give ya a call an' I'll settle this on behalf a' my new friends. Ya like my Scroll? Comes with dictation on account a my disability." He made a vague gesture at the people who very clearly wanted Gaston's head, and at his scroll. "A' course, we can't exactly do this now, but I figure we can work something out now, right pard?"

Calypso growled before dropping Jack and immediately exiting the conversation, stage right. Well, today was looking to be a great day already, wasn't it? Forcing herself to break eye contact, she felt some of the rage immediately dissipate, like a sugar cube in water. She was sure in an hour or two she'd feel guilty about giving that guy so much shit when he was really one of the nicer people on this boat, but damn if he didn't have his head so far up his ass he could see yesterday's lunch...

She threw a passing glance at Gaston and his weapon. "Best listen to what the man has to say, Gaston. The Beast kills you, remember?"

Off in a more...remote part of the ship, I guess you could say, a certain reptilian faunus was napping in what she had calculated to be the part of the ship with the most sunlight coming into it, as reptiles are wont to do, she seemed to be almost oblivious to what was going on around her, although if something broke out further, she might just be stirred from her slumber...

Gaston glared at Ayers. "Screw you and your scroll! I'm out!"

Wrenching his arms away from his cronies, he started walking towards the viewing gallery's door. Which promptly closed shut, slamming the poor bigot's face on it.

The Initiates now notice that the airship itself has stopped moving.....yet they weren't at Beacon's Skyport.

The view below was that of the Emerald Forest.....

"Now y'all—some day, boy, Imma rip yer lips off with a crowbar, is what I'mma do." Ayers shook his head, then moseyed on over to the window. "Gosh. I ain't never seen no wuhds before. Out on the farm, 's'all just flat farms fer miles around. 'S'whut brings in yer food to Vale, so it's gat-dern weird seein' a horizon that ain't flat, ya know? Where y'all from, friends? Ya used to sights like this, er whut?"

Jack walked back to the window, glancing out, before turning to Remus. "Did we stop?" Jack asked, confused.

Remus looked out at the forest below. "Yep. Looks like we've stopped. And I don't like it. I got a baaaaaad feeling bout this."

"And to think this trip was going so well." Jack said, non a hint of irony in his voice.

"Yeah, forests are pretty common around here, in fact, most of my most prominent memories are of forests," Barry replied, "Anyways, I'm gonna go explore for a bit see who all I can find. Here's my scroll number if you guys want to contact me." He handed them each a slip of paper, folded up Dragon Lily, and walked off towards a sunnier area of the ship to see if he could find anyone else to make friends with.

Ayers took the note from Barry and opened up his scroll. Enunciating clearly, he held it up to his face and announced into it: "First name. Barry." The Scroll replied in confirmation. "Second name. S. A. P. Haitch. Hyphen. B. Ail. You. Tee." The Scroll replied again. "Number. Mobile. 8. 6. 7. 5. 3. 0. 9."

A sharp pointed cry of pain, almost like a hissing noise, sounded from beneath Barry as he brought his foot down. When he looked down, he would see a hooded girl lying on the floor, his foot on her leg. She seemed to be staring up at him with confused, yet irritated auburn eyes. Her eyes flitted between his face and her leg quickly.

At the hiss, Barry jumped back, frantically apologizing, all whilst shivering at the girl's snakiness, "Ummm... sorry about that. My name's Barry, what's yours?"

The airship seemed to be mocking them. Beacon was so close, and yet the ship still wasn't moving.

Gaston's crew had dragged their fearless leader away from the gallery, but more and more people peered curiously at the sight of the forest below.

.....And then Weiss Schnee's latest single, "This Will Be The Day", began playing in the ship's sound systems...

They see you as small and helpless...

"Oh hey! I like this song!" True, the singer swas supposedly a bi-Wait a minute. They were stopped, above forest full of monsters, the song... Jack chuckled to himself, grinning with an almost maniacal glee in his eye. Oh, I get it..." he muttered.

Ayers shrugged out of his flannel, revealing a Red and Blue Verses concert shirt underneath it. "So, y'all think we gettin' tested by, uh, Ozpin?" He set the shirt down on a seat. "Let's jus' wait an' see whut all's goin' on. Git yer weapons out, jus' in case."

Ieria stood up slowly, granting Barry and any others around a brief view of her clawed gauntlets as she stood up. She was quiet as the boy began to frantically apologize to her. She raised a hand to quiet him and shook her head. She was about to speak up when the intercom began to play that song. She glanced over to the window to see that they had not arrived yet before turning back to Barry, rolling her neck to get rid of the crik in it before responding. "Ieria. Do you step on everyone you meet..?"

Still inwardly shivering Barry answered the girl, "No I don't, I'm so sorry, I just didn't see you, you were on the ground and I was looking for people, and they're normally standing up, so I was looking at eye level. I'm so sorry"

As the song continued, the viewing gallery's windows, promptly opened, sending a gust of air right into the student's midst.

Meanwhile in Headmaster Ozpin's office, Glynda Goodwitch slammed opened the door and gave her boss a withering glare.

"What is the meaning of this, sir?"

Ozpin simply smiled, and sipped his coffee cup.

Not giving a damn, Trollzpin style.

Jack had to remind himself to not jump out...He also decided to go and give Gaston a promise that if they met in the forest, legs would get broken. He went to go find the douchebags and relay that information to them.

Ieria shrugged her shoulders before putting her hands in her pockets and shook her head. "It's fine." She said with a grunt before straightening her posture. She decided that now would probably be a good time to get a look around at the other new blood before they disembarked...assuming they ever made it to Beacon at this rate. "Is there something wrong with the ship?" She asked, though the question was not directed at Barry alone.

"Not as far as I know..." Barry replied slowly backing away from the unnerving girl. After getting a respectable distance away, he ran until he found himself in front of a girl with wings. He then warily greeted, "Ummm... hi. I'm Barry Saph-Blut. What's your name?"
