Injustice comics (spoilers)

What volume of injustice is currently being released? The comics say year two. I thought this meant volume two until I bought volume one graphic novel. At the end, batman gathers the resistance and plans an attack. Jump to the ones on shelves now, and batman is paralyzed with green arrow dead. And the year two is only three issues deep. So is year two supposed to be future volume 3? Volume two isn't in graphic novel form yet, so I don't know. Help?

they're broken into parts for each year, like "Year 1: Volume" "Year 1: Volume 2" "Year 2: Volume" etc.

After catching up on this I have to say, holy fuck do a lot of people die.

Yeah, I have noticed it's basically "The Regime Kills Your Favorite Characters: The Comic." I found the deaths of Ganthet, Mogo, and the Phantom Stranger especially mean for some reason.

The death is the latest digital issue was ever dumber than Nightwing's death. I mean it was set up, and it was hilarious, but damn. In case people want to know in Year 5 Bizarro escaped from Lex's lab and fought Superman and escaped and became friends with Trickster. Trickster taught him some stuff like to cover your mouth when you sneeze, and then Bizarro killed some guys at a fast food place when they attacked him, and Trickster said that was bad because there were witnesses so Bizarro killed the rest. In this issue Trickster scolds him while Bizarro flies them away and Trickster says how he will still be Bizarro's friend, and then Bizarro sneeze's. while following trickster's advice, and also carrying him. It did not end well

IKR? I'm still waiting on some of my faves to bite it, hopefully in not too stupid a way.

Not to mention poor Jason Blood, offhandedly blown to gibs in one issue without even summoning Etrigan.

Year 4 has only 1 important character death I believe.

Maybe because by now they have mostly run out of important characters to kill who aren't in the game as well.

I wonder what will they do if a game sequel decides using characters they've killed off. Eh, maybe they'll just use the ones from the 'normal' universe.

And the least deaths (if we're talking Killed Off for Real, anyway).

I had a thought that the sequel could involve everyone who died over the course of the whole story coming back as Black Lanterns.

I'll admit, Black Lanterns make most things better.

Or it could be injustice 2 convergence abut what if tells hadn't nuked injustice world immediately. Because tells had captured the injustice verse post game.

At least no one died this week.

the last death was great though. great in how stupid it was.

There are still the Titans who were trapped in the Phantom Zone by evil Superman.

That's Superboy, Wondergirl, Red Robin, and Starfire.

I remember thinking there was someone who seemed like he was left out, but I can't think of who that is.

I don't think so. Beast Boy died in metropolis and Raven was Regime.

Yeah. I know Beast Boy died.

Bart died in that same explosion.

Where are the JSA members?

Oh, and what about the New Gods of New Genesis?

Where are Barda, Mr. Miracle, and Orion?

Are you just messing with me? Because I thought there was only five years between the initial incident and the events of the game.

yeah but injustice 2 is most likely coming. even if only in comic form.

So as of this post Year Five is halfway over. 20 more issues and maybe an Annual left to get things in line with the game. What all still needs to happen?

Catwoman has to join the Insurgency.

Aquaman has to turn evil.

Batwoman, Batgirl, Alfred, Zatanna, and a bunch of others either have to die or be written out in some way.

What else?

This week Harley continues to be full of shit and her still living is stupid.

Raven needs to go full evil, someone needs to actually find the the main universe.

Good additions.

The series is starting to spin its wheels; Harley and Shazam are both safe, so there's no tension to their fight at all. It seems to be just an excuse for a bunch of the super pills to get used up. I just know that someone's going to get killed because of that shortage.
