To those who do digital art instead of traidtional, I believe Manga Studio 5 is on Amazon for about 18$
Me? I am still learning. I consider myself to be an aberration and an insult to art. I expect to step up to a "mongrel" in about 5 years of practice. Hopefully.
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesI just drew this for somebody!
ppppppppfeiufiofuiorjfadkfbnjkdflaosigjbkghuiafjkldjnbaghkd@Daft Oh cute monster :)
Why thanks, but it's not my species, though. They're a closed species. My friend got blacklisted from ever getting one because she "copied the species", which she neVER did. The owner of the species, Phloxe Butt, is too dang picky for anybody. So since he blacklisted her, I blocked him from my deviantart page. But this is my favorite bab. (They're called mantibabs, bab for short).
ppppppppfeiufiofuiorjfadkfbnjkdflaosigjbkghuiafjkldjnbaghkd@Punch Ah that's too baffled for your friend, aww that one is cute
Oh hello!
I draw things and, supposedly, write. I have a dA account under the name Lunarsmith.

I write a lot of prose (currently working on a sci-fi novel) and draw a webcomic. Other than that my drawings tend to range from 'weird' to 'disturbing'.
All that fancy stuff can be found in my deviantArt page, with the username 010001110101 (Catchy and easy to remember, right?)

I draw often, but my posting them is strictly Facebook, so I'll post some things in here from time to time, seeing as how no one pays attention to the Visual Arts forum.

Keeping that forum alive is hard. I tried.
ppppppppfeiufiofuiorjfadkfbnjkdflaosigjbkghuiafjkldjnbaghkdNo one is impressed with art, here
I wish that'd change. I spend hours trying to make my art semi-perfect, if I don't like it, I throw the whole thing away, and you guys only see the best from me.
ppppppppfeiufiofuiorjfadkfbnjkdflaosigjbkghuiafjkldjnbaghkdI kind of do similar. I'll say that perfection is not something to strive for, though. i'll throw something out if I feel it deviates to far from what I draw or my style, or if it just didn't math up with what I was intending to draw.
Ah, I'm sort of a perfectionist with my art. I'd like to go to an art college. I should start thinking about that, since I'm going into 10th grade.

I did a pastel sketch, and I'm definitely going with the texture and looseness.
Unfortunately, I found out my intended color palette was waaaaaay too bright. Even considering I used, well, pastel shades, it just reminds me of the Greek coloring style where everything is vomiting rainbows. So I need to go with either more earth-tones, or more grays to suit the mood of my story.
No, I'm not showing you guys the Greek Rainbow Vomit sketch. Although I will tell you it's like a twisted/dark version of a Claddagh ring.
