Honestly, I liked Dr.Light better when he was all Great Power with No Imagination. There was an issue of the Perez-Wolfman New Teen Titans where he's monologing about himself, getting to "Why, with my powers..." and Robin decks him flat, saying "...You ought to be a lot better than you are." Speaks to the banality of evil that the best he can come up with, with his powers, is to rob banks.

Introduce Dr.Wily as his main rival.

Shouldn't Dr Wily be a Marvel villain because of the whole Marvel vs Capcom thing?

TBH Capcom characters would fit better in the world of DC than in Marvel due to their more fantastical elements. Conversely, SNK characters would actually fit in with Marvel as their world is a lot more grounded compare to Capcom.

And Mortal Kombat Karacters would probably be right at home at Image (right?)

Of course. And for some reason Valient Comics will crossover with Guilty Gear. Why? Cause I like both of those works.

DC isn't any more fantastical than Marvel.

So I've volume 3 of Morrison's JLA. This one contained some filler issues from Mark Waid and one from Mark Millar. They were perfectly enjoyable but nothing special. The crossover with Sandman was pretty good though I have not read Sandman so I have no idea if Dream's character here is consistent with his appearance in his home series. The Ultramarines arc was a typical government backed upstart team vs the old guard story but it was well done. Of particular note is Wade Eiling turning into a monster which in this version is him transferring his conciousness into an android known as the shaggy man rather than hulking out on Nazi Juice like in JLU. Finally Crisis Times Five is a JLA/JSA teamup that introduces Johnny Thunder's successor and the return of Triumph. Overall none of the stories in this trade are as epic as Rock of Ages but are still good in their own right.

I like how Dream showed up just to tell Kyle Rayner he was a cool dude.

Sandman had ended at that point, and the Dream who appeared in Justice League of America was the Dream from the very end of the series, a different incarnation (much the same way that the Doctor from Doctor Who has different incarnations)from the Dream who appeared throughout the series. This new Dream (who called himself "Daniel", had white hair, and dressed all in white, where the previous Dream answered to a variety of names—like Morpheus—had black hair, and dressed all in black). That's a long-winded way of saying he hadn't had much in the way of portrayal. Reportedly Gaiman was okay with it and approved the appearance.

I liked the Harley Quinn storyline over all. And there's other good bits, but trying to explain the Injustice game as a comic sort or automatically fucks shit up....

Depends of the Year... Years 1 and 2 are probably the best 3 and 4 feel like stalling and 5 is a decent lead in to the game

I mean yeah its got characters to kill but Hey for once the Bat family isn't bloated.

The most recent development in Hawkman in regards to straightening out his history makes so much perfect sense that I'm amazed no one thought of it sooner.

Injustice is good when it leans into the stupidity of the world and characters. 2 hasn't been as fun as 1 was outside of some moments.
