While I do not have an opinion on your question already, this
topic deals with categorizing Trivia stuff.

I'm not sure which reason for listing this should go into, but anyway.
Shouldn't Parody Retcon be considered a Trivia trope, rather than a main trope? It refers more to how the work is received by the public, and how the creator reacts to that reception, than anything within the continuity of the work itself (unless it's an in-universe example, naturally). Sounds like a Trivia trope to me.
