My guess is, because my whole life is basically about villages.

I even recently became mayor, so I guess I sort of own a village.

Oh. Okay.

...(Fate might notice that the too-wide smile seems to flicker) So, uh, you fighting sometimes? For sport or anything?

-the Villager lets out a little laugh, that sounds like he is trying too hard to sound innocent and ends up sounding disturbing-

Do I like fighting? Do I?

I love it. I've been gathering with some of the greatest fighters and facing them every day for a while now!

Oh, great.

Add creeped-out to the list. Fate focusses on her scan.

That's it. Get out your butcher knife, we're painting the pavement red!(unsheathes katanas with a laugh, back to his trademark crazy grin) It's Sho-time!

-The mastodon returns, approaching the cafe again-

It seems this... person is in the right place. -the idle thought floats across her mind, even as the rest of it focusses on the scan.

Also, that's a sweet theme song.

Ha! I guess it's time for a new opponent.

-Villager pulls out a huge butterfly net, and his eye gleams◊ as he tries to trap Sho with it-

I know, right? ^_^

(swiftly sidesteps the net swing and counters with a flurry of slashes of his own)

-Villager is slashed a few times, then pulls a bowling ball out of Hammerspace and drops it on Sho-

Screw it, Fate's character isn't going anywhere until the Idolo subplot continues.

-there is a glow in the distance, coming closer every moment - is that fire?-

Eh, screw it, I'll be back tomorrow.

Wait, wha-(bowl'd, reels back) Oh, this is BS right now. Where's my magical bag of holding?!(chucks a knife at him as he runs circles 'round the Villager, trying to find a definite weak spot)

(not aware of the glow)

-Villager catches the knife and stuff it in his pocket, still smiling-

As the glow comes closer, it's revealed to be a certain underdressed Shounen protagonist, wreathed in flames.

(that seems to rile him up somewhat good)

(drops the circling and attacks with another flurry of lightning-fast slashes)

-Villager dodges the first slash, but is hit by the rest-

-he pulls the knife from his pocket and throws it at Sho-

Dynamic Entry Falcon Kick "Fire Dragon's Claw!"

Natsu wades into the fray, kicking at Sho with a flaming foot... and then eating the knife in the shoulder. Ouch! He turns on the Villager, his eyes blazing - literally.

(well, talk about dynamic entry)

(gets shoved aside a couple meters away, flying into a nearby wall)

...(shakes head, kinda dazed) Son of a bitch, that hurt.(gathers himself back up)

-the Villager just keeps smiling- Oh, you wanna play too?
