All-Purpose Sakura Taisen/Wars fanfiction thread

This thread is for us to brainstorm/show fanfiction relatead to Sakura Wars/Taisen, a Sega franchise that spans five games (At least main), OVAs with a TV anime adaptation and an animated movie with a few prequel/gaiden games.

Head to the Sakura Wars trope page to know more about the series, which is dormant right now with talks every now and then that there may be a reboot or a proper sequel set in Berlin or something.

Feel free to talk about crossover ideas that may/may not leave the planning stages.

For starters, I've longed though of an Assassin's Creed crossover that can be...

• Either set in the same eras as the SW world is or an AU in the Cold War.
• Have the said crossover with some elements taken from the games/OVAs with the anime version.

Now that Project Sakura War is coming this year (Asia) and early next year (Rest of the world), I've been thinking of an idea where someone with no spirit powers is recruited to work in Tokyo with the Moon Division due to something that happened to someone that has some plot with Japan.

At least the idea also include human enemies, just like in the animated movie.

Maybe a fanfic of Ogami and his love interest living their lives as a married couple before the vents of Project Sakura Wars.
