Most likely one of the Dark Worlds will be the hospital. Noelle will be desperate to save her father when he takes a turn for the worse, realize the ability to heal in the Dark World and create one in the hospital, hoping he can be healed there. So a twisted world based off of a hospital which will totally be ordinary and horror-free.

I remember seeing an apparently leaked/revealed screenshot of what appeared to be a hospital setting a while back.

Also I this point, I feel the dark worlds are a sort of mental world as well and is conected to the desire of person who is there:the one in the school pretty much response to susie and kris loneliness and abandonment issues(I feel king spade is in fact a foil to kris), while internet is pretty much "how I can make you happy?" in a way.

Also, someone in the comment said the queen is pretty much villian papyrus, which I think it was a funny way to see it, anyone agee?.

She feels a little Mettatonesque to me

Yeah I see more of a Mettaton vibe to her myself.

Queen does seem to be an unspoken parallel to Noelle's issues with her mom.

I feel Papyrus more than Mettaton with Queen.

Wants to be malicious but is too nice and silly to be truly evil also gets really chummy after losing.

It papyrus in her methods(she wants to make everyone happy and have not idea what it entail really) and mettatron in her personality(very outspoken, take people for granted and is somewhat narcistic).

I can way for fan art and fan fic despicting the two getting along

I mean I guess. I'm just going with Mettaton since he gets ignored a lot compared to a good few UT faces like, well, sans.

Anyway, the unused Light World Glass item has some fascinating flavour text involving "Susie looking at you coldly." I mean obviously not canon here but if it is (and it probably is, I mean Gaster, remember?) then what would it mean? Is it a looking glass into the past and Kris is seeing how Susie used to be? Or is it a possible future, either where Susie for some reason goes back to the dark side and becomes even worse than she was in early Chapter 1, or a future "evil route" where Susie no longer believes in you or whatever.

Well, I got the backup Jevilstail and associated Shadow Crystal from outside town. Looking at all Seam's possible dialogue, specifically if you got the first Crystal but got past the point of no return without Spamton's, it seams to imply that from that one on, there won't be backup crystals and you'll have to get them all from the bonus bosses directly.

Edit: I did not mean that to be "seams to imply", I swear, but I'm leaving it.

Something tells me Toby still expected players to panic-playthrough Chapter 1 just so they were ready for Chapter 2 upon reading it carried over C1 saves. If that crystal thing is any indication at least.

Ironically I spent hours replaying Jevil and refused to give up even when Chapter 2 came out.

Actually, I think a meta aspect Toby would do is make a Dark World off of Hometown and everyone is their Undertale counterpart.

Now that would mess people up.

The funniest would be if at one point in the Deltarune Light World you went into the junior classroom and BOOM, motherfuckin Chara is there....and they're just an ordinary kid. They're painting but they aren't too good at it, they let the paint run and when you look at the picture, they tried to draw themselves with a cutesy anime grin and instead it looks more like their melty jumpscare face.

I dunno put that in an AU or something.

For all intents and purposes, Kris is in Chara's position as the adopted child of the Dreemurs.

Whether or not Kris IS Chara or Chara exists as a separate person remains to be seen.

Well, it would be kinda neat to include, a bone to the "Chara wasn't that bad" crowd.

Also, dunno if this is real or not but apparently the Weird Route wasn't nasty enough because if you do it on a fresh save file, somehow Papyrus fucking dies.◊

Also, ive been wondering what other classes the Lightners would turn into, giving the ones we've seen so far:

• Kris: Hero/Warrior
• Susie: Berserker
• Ralsei: White Mage
• Noelle: White Mage but with nukes (maybe just mage?)
• Berdley: Paladin/White Knight

I can see Catti being a Black Mage, maybe Jockington as a Rogue, but what about the others? We can also assume with the chapter's ending that not just Kris's classmates will be entering a dark world.

Kris is the creepy kid adopted by the Dreemurs who loves knives and chocolate, so I am 100% certain they are the alternate-Chara.

What's the default on that grave? Susie keeps stopping me from reading it in Chapter 2.

Normally its for the dog that's parallel to the Endogeny dog in Undertale since all the other graves are for UT Amalgamates.

You can get it on a Chapter 1 Fight-happy route where you basically KO-ed everyone and made them run. I think.

I had an old Undertale theory I never really put out there, that Frisk is Chara's reincarnation. So Kris is kinda both of them? But seemingly more Chara than Frisk, despite the name. Or perhaps the soul is Frisk and the body is Chara, following the "Zombie Kris" theory. The original body still walking around with leftover determination screwed up the soul's attempt to reincarnate, resulting in two wills.

As far as I know, the Weird Route doesn't have any Chapter 1 requirements. It's initiated by what you do once Noelle joins the party. Even if you've solely been Act-ing beforehand, nothing stops you from having Noelle start to kill everyone in Cyber City.
