Maybe something like 'gain 2 attack this turn'? Themed after the 'barehanded' thing, trades extra damage vs. rogue daggers for the lack of durability (forcing you to use it every turn rather than every two turns) and no weapon synergies? It's pretty basic, though.
I don't play much Wo W, but isn't part of Monk's thing that they can be either tank, DPS or healer depending on the skills they pick? That sort of flexibility could definitely be a class identity, though I'm not sure if you could get a hero power out of it. Maybe the power itself is passive and activating it would swap the passive effect?

It's no par of class identity, a lot of classes can do that for 2 of those (warrior, dk, shaman, priest, dh) and some can do all 3 (paladin, druid, monk). Rogue, hunter, mage and warlock are the only ones stuck as DPS only.

The DH prologue is out
And the fight against Cenarius can go fuck right off.
Seriously, some might question the decision of introducing the DH with a deck so awful no one will want to play DH.

Most of the good stuff for DH is still part of the AOO set.
I beat all encounters first try.
Uni cat Having returned to HS a few days back, seconded with vengeance.
That 5-cost minion that reduces the cost of all the buffs in Cenarius's hand always being there doesn't help matters.

grahIt's the lack of minions in the DH deck that makes the encounter annoying. Especially if Cenarius decides to play big taunts (Buffed 11/10 Jarod Shadowsong, or Ancient of Blossoms/Ancient of War), where your only option is to ram your head into them while Cenarius has 90 billion cheap heal cards. And a lot of the minions you have have 2 or less health so they die to your own AOE.
I got him on the 2nd try but even then it wasn't a fun fight coz the DH deck is so lacking. It's a fight that'd be easy with any other deck than the one the game gave you.

Huh, after doomsayering here I was surprised to get through Cenarius in a jiffy.
Anyone tried the new ranked system yet? Really liking the reward system at least.
Which motivated me to actually buy the damned Welcome Bundle since the new duplicate protection when up and now i have all the rare cards of the classic sets. Maybe for once i will try to complete a set of cards.
Got Nozdormu out of it. Damn, i really wanted Deathwing

Uni catI've reached platinum on the new ranked system. I think I like it more, and I will probably like the end of month rewards more, but the guaranteed goldens will be missed.
I'm languishing in Silver 5 hell.
You'd think all these meta-compliant decks would be past that threshold and leave me to climb up with my cobbled-together Galarogue, but here we are. At least Mechadins are so far manageable, and I can even match on-curve Treant Druid if I have the right hand. Once AOO rolls in, I might see about adding in Bamboozles to the deck, or even try my hand with a Highlander Galarogue.
grahReached Platinum 10 after anguishing on Priest hell and being kicked in the teeth by druids and their stupid untargettable cats.
Smorc Galakrond Warrior carried me hard until i switched to Quest Shaman Galakrond. Needless to say, resurrecting minions is stupid and Convincing Infiltrator should die in a Teldrassil level fire.
And my reward? Kidnapper and a King Mukla on the free pack.....i'll take it i guess.
Uni catI'm still chilling in silver, still have my star bonus. Just been too lazy to play.
Outland is out! 56 packs resulted in Kayn Sunfury, Lady Liadrin and Keli'dan the Breaker.
“You can’t be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and embarrassment to others.” -Mark Manson.I got myself to Diamond rank thanks to a libram/paladin cards only deck. I have no idea if it's good or if it's because the meta isn't set up yet, but I quite like it.
This DH OTK deck with Zephrys into Doomhammer is pretty hilarious.
And yes, people are already complaining it's too strong.
Atm so many DH, kinda having fun just running taunts and watching them commit suicide by running their dumb face into them constantly.
So, who else thinks Imprisoned Antaen and Priestess of Fury are stupid bullshit cards? Because i do
Uni catMurgur Murgurgle (The Paladin Legendary), is insane in control v control. I've had his prime version resummon the base one 5 times in a game. 2nd time he summoned 3 copies. Murlocs for days.
Edited by Ghilz on Apr 7th 2020 at 10:47:24 AM
Honestly you don't even need Zephrys, he's just an extra win condition. If you get enough card draw with Kael'Thas in hand, you can get damage in the 30s sans Zephrys
Reached Diamond playing DH
So yes, Priestess of Fury is so broken is not even funny
Uni catOh yeah, a Kael'Thas version could work as well.
The Kael'thas one is no joke, they were at 3 cards and suddenly whoop out a 15 attack weapon with Lifesteal and suddenly i'm the one playing control.
Skull of Gul'dan is definitely getting nerfed to two cards
Uni catI really don't care about nerf talk on the first day.
You haven't experience the utter hell that is dying to a Pyroblash on 10/6 followed by a Boulderfist Ogre that deals 6 damage at the end of your turn. Last few ranks in Platinum were filled with D Hs that by turn 8 have access to around 15 damage (Either with Kayn or Metamorphosis, taunting is pointless)
I have embraced SMORC VENGEANCE because of how ridiculous DH is right now.

Uni cat
Isnt Windfury the Monk mechanic anyway? Shaman is not using it much lately so might as well give thag to a potential monk class
