<"Right. Eat leaves."> Sabre enchants nearby leaves to strike the coral-like Pokémon.

<"Right,"> Sabre used his psychic powers in attempt to deal damage to the walking coral, via confusion.

-It doesn't seem to do much. The Corsola attacks with a Bubble Beam-

<"Augh!"> Sabre yells, taking the full force of the attack, <"O.K. That's it!">

Sabre causes a wind to stir using his fae powers, whilst scattering leaves to protect himself from the next attack.

<"Sabre, if you feel weak let me know, alright?"> I asked feeling concerned.

<"You know that you never need to ask.">

The bubbles popped on Sabre's leaf shield.

<"Is that the best you can do?"> He taunts as he teleports behind the Corsola, then launches a barrage of telekinetic force.

So I plan to make a character soon, but before that I have a couple questions.

May I use the name Alexa? That's the name people usually call me.

Is there any limitation on Mythical and "weak" Legendary Pokemon like Diancie and Thundurus?

Hiya. Alexa's fine.

Uh I don't know the exact rule but basically you can't have legendaries until you're pretty established in the rp.

Legendaries are, generally, treated more on the divine side than just as extra-powerful Pokemon, even the weaker ones. Diancie are more or less along the lines of archfey, while Thundurus is given a significantly more "actual literal deity" status. The notable exceptions are Latios, Latias, Manaphy, and Shaymin (and maybe a couple others I'm blanking on), which are more frequently treated as endangered and extremely unlikely for a Trainer to have except as a temporary alliance. Either way, it's not something we're keen on new players starting out with.

But yeah, Alexa is fine, we have plenty of self-insert characters :P

How about Mega Stones and Z-Moves, and items in general?

Items are pretty much totally free-rein, although Mega Stones are generally assumed to be for characters who have League experience, and Z-Crystals are something you'd most likely only get if you've done the Alola trials, at least partially. Overall, though, they're fine, and not something you necessarily have to keep track of, either :P

Yeah, as a rundown:

-Legendaries/Mythicals are treated as either deities or powerful spirits, not something for a player character to get their hands on, and can only be written as NP Cs if you stick around long enough. Ultra Beasts are an exception due to not really counting as either but again you need RP experience to own one.

-Mega Stones and Z-Crystals also need RP Experience and also probably the requirements Bitty said. Most other non-Legendary-related items are fair game for a character to have. Also yeah you don't have to particularly keep track of them.

-There is no One Steve Limit except among the same Pokemon species, and also as long as human characters have different last names. :P

  • Background: An Ordinary High-School Student all things considered. Alexa was once given to honor to work for her idol Elesa as a Gym Trainer. She received Emolga as her first Pokemon. However, since she is too young to be a Beauty, she drops out after Elesa switched from the Roller Coaster Gym to the Catwalk Gym. She is now a Backer, cheering for athletes at the Big Stadium. She sees this as an opportunity to diversify beyond Electric-type.

  • Personality: A rather timid and insecure girl. She constantly worries that she is not good enough for Elesa, but she always tries her best in battle. She enjoys Castellacones and Poke Studio movies.
