I'm still watching it. Episode 5 will determine if it stays on watchlist.
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines.Good concept (like Kamichu mixed with a little Hayate No Gotoku) but a little too retro-shoujo-seeming for my tastes. Does it surpass expectations and cliches and forge its own path? Are the characters unique and well developed? Is the romance not forced?

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot. Here's Funi's subs for the show. New eps are on Wednesdays.
Do you want me to answer that?
- Nope, same old cliches with same ol' execution.
- Characters aren't anything special.
- The romance isn't forced, but it doesn't make care either.
It's also obviously not taking itself seriously, but it's also not laugh-out-loud funny. At most it got an amused "heh" out of me.
It's not bad, but... frankly, it's bland, especially when compared to the competition.
Weirdly enough it often feels like the romance takes second stage to various other stuff, godly politics and such.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntEpisode 4 felt (too long) boring to me. Not even my love for Legend of the White Snake helped, or maybe it's because of my fondness for Lot WS which made me extra-critical.
The female lead, though I still like her, just seemed (too) helpless. I prefer pro-active female characters, not Damsel in Distress.
As for the guys, I think my current fave is the irresponsible Earth God who made the female lead a diety in the first place, which is kinda not good since we're supposed to be more interested in the main characters, not the one-shot characters.
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines.I find it cute and watchable, but not too original. I do want her to be a little more competent, though, or at least show the competent sides she has a little more. She has her moments, and her empathy is well-developed, so it's not all bad.
Check out my fanfiction!Episode 5: Same deal as the previous ones. It was nice to see the tengu again, and Nanami got to increase her love points with two of her harem.
Episode 6: Seems he wasn't as bad as feared, but still not as good. I like the balance between those two points. I liked the second part better than the first. School hijinx isn't as fun as past exploration.
Check out my fanfiction! It was the reverse for me: I enjoyed the hijinks more than the flashback, though not by much. A good episode though, could be the best so far, and Yukiji and the Bloodthirsty King interest me more than snake boy.
Episode 7. So, an actual confession. Was a little earlier than I expected, but a few other current shows also had it earlier than usual. Almost seems like a trend...
Check out my fanfiction!Episode 7: Good on paper, but execution is somewhat too robotic. Rather boring, really, though the part where Tomoe trying to force Nanami to take back what she said and onwards are decent. They could have been way better, however.
Episode 8. I think we have our first real two-parter. Or more. Seems like it could shape up to something interesting.
Check out my fanfiction!Aside from the time travel thing which is a plot I personally dislike, the story's pretty good, yeah.
I'm also not that sure about it, but she gets a pass because she's a goddess. I think that should count for something. I wonder if it's going to be time loop where she already did it in his past, or where she's changing the past. Though I kinda doubt they're going to go into great detail of it.
Check out my fanfiction!I'm not expecting anything out of the time travel in general. It'll just be a thing that happens/will have happened.
The romance aspect of this show still isn't clicking with me.
Imagine that, they went for the sensible approach to time travel. And put an aesop to it that didn't feel forced.
She doesn't have any powers, and she's helped all the time by the more powerful people around her, and yet she doesn't really feel that weak and helpless as she's said to be by her loving familiar. It's a bit interesting.
Check out my fanfiction!Episode 11. Mostly it was just cute, though her jealousy is starting to grate on me, considering she's about as justified to it as your average anime girl. Well, the second part was cute. Both the second part of the episode, and the second part of the first part. I kinda liked that country girl.
Check out my fanfiction!Snakeboy's portion was interesting, the second one ain't. I hope country gal will appear again!
Episode 12: Nanami being, err, frankly speaking, pathetic while Snakeboy is busy being a funny background event.
For episode 13, that guy who bought the mask, have we seen him before?

Not sure, he seemed familiar.
And imagine that, she actually accomplished something supernatural. Kind of predictable, but not bad at all.
Check out my fanfiction!Episode 13: After Nanami's frankly pathetic display last episode, she makes up for it with an elegant monster-vanquishing ritual dance. It was nice to see characters from previous episodes show up at the festival. The kiss at the end was boring, but the romance in general was a yawnfest anyway.
I believe he's the other figure in Tomoe's past. The guy past Tomoe was ransacking villages with.

Looks like this is all but officially confirmed for a dub. They wanted to bring in the Fruits Basket fans, they DEFINITELY got them. :)
pretty funny so far. the fish god's disguise was kinda cute
