Obi-Wan, Border of the Solar System — Vetustas

Obi-Wan sat bolt upright in his chair (or at least as much as he could in the cramped cockpit pod of the Actis) as he detected... something. Whoever they were, they weren't to be dismissed lightly, but what really seized his attention was how it was being suppressed. Were they in trouble? No Jedi he knew of used artificial methods of subduing their Force signature; rather, they simply drew their presence in on themselves and reduced it.

"Arfour, I think I've found something," said Obi-Wan, deep in thought. Arfour, for her part, sounded rather curious. "I don't know what it is, but I think it's worth investigating."

As he finished speaking he experimentally tried to brush against the presence in the Force, hoping to figure out what he was dealing with. Throttling back the interceptor's engines, he began a slow, lazy turn in the general direction of the presence; he might not be able to see them where he was currently, but perhaps if he got closer it would reveal himself.

James Bond, London — Iam

By this point the international superspy*

had decided that M probably wasn't going to wait any longer for him to arrive. She didn't have much patience for people who messed about. Getting into his* DBS V12, James joined the London traffic.

Although the car was supremely capable and he'd be lying if he didn't get a rush out of driving it, he found that in most situations it was an incredibly conspicuous vehicle, sticking out like a sore thumb among the usual suspects trundling along the road. Unfortunately, the news reports had only given him the same old drivel they usually offered. But then again, what did he expect from the news? They weren't exactly going to offer top notch intelligence.

Thoughts of Vesper intruded into his thoughts once again and James sucked air through his teeth sharply. Not again - this could wait for once. Getting distracted at the wheel was the last thing he needed. Staring ahead grimly, James tried to focus on the meeting ahead.

Craft Lawrence: Traveling with Holo, Memoria

Ah, she's awake. Lawrence saw his traveling companion approach him on the carriage. She has been a slightly odd but also pleasant person, and they have been traveling together for some time now. She was known for sleeping among the merchandise in the cart without being very noticeable.

"Hmm? Is there a reason not to?" Lawrence asked as he read her face.

"By the way, see these potions and such items? They could be of much profit and use, once we meet with those that know how they work," Lawrence said as he pointed to his cargo behind them. Come to think of it, there was some demand for some artifact, from such folks in Biscotti. Perhaps it is important for something they want to accomplish.

"Rumors say that a warrior from the Iveland tribe is adept with these. I wonder if we will meet that person," said Lawrence as he faced forward towards his horses. What a layperson observing the vehicle wouldn't know is that Lawrence tried a magical item on it, at the recommendation of a magic alchemist from the previous town. It was expected to provide some benefit.
