Gotta wait to see if JJK can reclaim the throne again :nonon:

Seems like Shouto's blast this week didn't just blow away the characters but also MHA's competitors. Tanaka Seiji got the axe, with Alice probably next.
Next issue, Dr. Stone gets the cover with an "important announcement" (three guesses at what it is), and color pages for YSYS and Bokuben.
On the sales department, Act-age volume 4 sold just above 20k in its first week-end, and KNY about 75k. BC volume 18 is at 87k and TPN volume 11 around 162k.

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.an anime adaptation? cancellation? cancellation of an anime adaptation?
Damn at seeing Dr Stone, Black Clover and Promised Neverland in the 8, 9 and 10 spots. That said, the competition is pretty rough with the sheer number of established hits and promising newcomers. A lot of the usual backplacers got front and center colour pages this issue too.
Huh I think this MHA’s first number one spot in a long while.
I’m so proud.
Though having read all those chapters of Stone, Clover, & Neverland I can assume people were very receptive to the epilogue of the Tsukasa Empire Saga, the end of Langris’ fight, & the....... lets say dark stuff that happened with Andrew.
Huh the last one really surprised me cause that was a great chapter.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Don't forget that current positions are based on rankings from... 8 issues ago, I think? Either 8 or 6.
That’s always an easy detail to forget.
Also a little bit confusing because you have to think then which chapter specifically got the ranking then.
Though I hope MHA gets a new color chapter soon because I found out it hasn’t had one in a while while Black Clover got like 2 since.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."MHA's last no. 1 spot was more than a year ago, so yeah.
No one's really sure, but it's definitely not based on the previous week (since I'm pretty sure the tables of contents are made a couple weeks in advance anyway).
How much the TOC even reflects the actual rankings is a bit unclear; the editor-in-chief has the final say, as Oda himself explained in a Q&A. We only know that the higher a series is placed in average, the more popular it is at the moment. Although there are mysterious cases like Hinomaru Zumou, who are consistently low in the TOC and don't even sell that well, but still got an anime for some reason.

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Rest in pepperonis for Tanaka Seiji though but its understandable given that they were struggling in the ranks.
Also, wow! I didnt expect Dr. Stone, Black Clover and TPN were really low on this list. Which is understandable following slimcoder's assessment. Hopefully some of them could raise in terms of their ranks. On the bright side however, Jujutsu and Act Age are going to climb again I guess :3
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."And P.S. one of the guesses would be an anime adaptation for Dr. Stone? @Lyendith
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."Like yeah, its questionable if individual rankings really reflect opinions on a specific chapter, but it's pretty undeniable that the more popular series tend to hog the top spots.

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Alright Alice & Taiyo is out.
https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2018-11-18/alice-and-taiyo-manga-ends-in-shonen-jump/.139633
My condolences to the fans.
Also I assume MHA will get a center color because the results of its yearly popularity poll is coming out next week.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Between Tanaka and Alice ending, H×H going back to hiatus soon and World Trigger leaving the Weekly Jump, a whole batch of new series is to be expected in the following months…
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. The Comiq is ending next week
...I have to assume they're planning to start a whole bunch of new series soon, but I haven't seen any announcements about that
@Lyendith iirc after Issue 52, there will be an issue reset. Not sure if the info was true but we'll see about it. And hopefully we got some new mangas for SJ
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell." on the flipside. Dr Stone and We Never Learn are getting animes. NVM, the Dr Stone one was already mentioned.

@Morning Star Yep. And cant wait to see Act Age and JJK survive for so long and it will got an anime adaptation of its own. Same with Renaissance David
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."Pretty much all the young works are getting anime’s.
It’s an odd feeling, seeing so many season 1’s all at once.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."What's weird is that there are literally no cancellable series right now… Maybe Hinomaru Zumou, which has been struggling for a while, but even that one is a stretch…
Otherwise, Alice to Taiyou was honestly a pretty fun series. Even if it got axed, it still kinda works as a short series.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. There's no way they're cancellin Sumo now that it's just gotten an anime.
