Fallout Equestria and Crisis Equestria got their own threads because they were already large subjects of conversation on the WA and general Pony Fanfiction threads.

As this universe seems to be expanding rapidly, I thought it deserved its own thread, a la Fallout Equestria or Crisis Equestria.
(For those not aware, RainbowDoubleDash's Lunaverse is a collection of stories in the MLP:FIM universe. The basic premise is that Celestia went evil instead of Luna, and now the Elements of Harmony are six background, side, or villain characters instead of the main 6 in the original show. It was started by, well, RainbowDoubleDash, but now a whole bunch of others are contributing to it).
Probably my favorite aspect of the stories is being able to see the 'world,' I guess, through the eyes of some of the minor characters, and seeing what spin they put on things. Like Trixie in the take on 'Boast Busters,' or Ditzy in the currently-updating 'Family Matters.' And, judging by the conversations in the group page on fimfiction, it looks like subsequent stories are going to be awesome as well.
