Here's my signup. It's kinda long, though, so...

• Name: Sola Badguy Real Name: Freddi Mars
• Age: At least 150
• Appearance: Think of a more realistic version of the girl on the right.◊
• Personality: Generally, Sola is an unpleasant person to be around. She’s crass, rude, and doesn't care about what other people think about her or what she does. She also has a one-track mind and is prone to getting into fights. However, she does genuinely care about those she trusts, not that she shows it often.
• Powers and Abilities:
  • Enhanced Attributes: As a member of a race of genetically engineered bioweapons known as Gears, Sola’s physical capabilities are far beyond those of a normal human. She can hit a person hard enough to cause them to bounce off of whatever they hit, fast enough to outrun a car, given enough time to accelerate, and agile enough to be able to jump off of sheer surfaces. She also has a Healing Factor, though it’s not nearly as pronounced as that of any Wolverine the team might encounter.
  • Fire Magic: Sola is also capable of using magic, specifically the element of fire. This magic can manifest in many forms, but Sola typically uses it to create projectiles, superheat her sword, propel her in some fashion, or to generally cover whatever she’s attacking with with fire. She can condense this magic enough to give it the appearance of a bolt of red lightning.
  • Fireseal: Fireseal is Sola’s main weapon, a legendary sword which amplifies fire magic, making it easier to use, and looks vaguely like a paddle from hell. Without Sola’s fire magic superheating it, though, it’s only real uses are as a bludgeon and a lever.
  • Dragon Install: Sola’s headband acts as a power limiter, simultaneously keeping her Gear nature (denoted by a glowing brand on her forehead) secret and allowing her to limit how much power she uses in a fight. By overloading her headband, Sola enters a state known as Dragon Install, where her physical attributes are amplified and her fire magic is much more powerful than normal. If she completely overrides her headband, she may even transform into her true Gear form, that of a humanoid dragon. However, Sola can only sustain Dragon Install for a short period of time, after which her headband activates a failsafe that forcibly brings her power back down, temporarily stunning her.
• Backstory: In the world of Guilty Gear, humanity discovered magic in the year 2010. This discovery soon led a small group of scientists to start playing God, creating the Gears. In the original timeline, a man named Frederick was a part of this group, and eventually became the Flame of Corruption, Sol Badguy. However, in this particular timeline, a young woman named Freddi took his place. As a "reward" for helping complete the Gear Project, Freddi was transformed into the original prototype Gear by the leader of the Gear Project, who she only refers to as "That Man." Enraged, she abandoned her former identity and became Sola Badguy, a ruthless bounty hunter.
  • Soon after the Gear Project’s conclusion, the second Gear, Justice, who could control all other Gears who came after him, realized that he and his brethren were being used as mass-produced cannon fodder and revolted, sparking a century-long war known as the Crusades. Sola was a major combatant on the side of humanity, along with Kliff Undersn, the leader of a group called the Sacred Order of Holy Knights, and a young knight named Kai Kiske. The three helped end the war by sealing Justice in another dimension, tentatively dubbed the Backyard.
  • 5 years after the end of the Crusades, a Gear known as Testament began a plot to break Justice out of his interdimensional prison. The United Nations (now more like an actual government than a peacekeeping force) flipped out once they discovered this, holding an international fighting tournament in order to find someone who could stop this plot. Sola, Kai, and Kliff were all in attendance, with Sola winning the tournament. However, the tournament was actually a trap set by Testament in order to get the blood sacrifices he needed in order to revive Justice. He then tried to sacrifice Sola. He failed horribly, but then got the idea to use his own blood to finish the ritual. Thus, Justice returned to Earth. Kai tried to fight him first, but she was easily trounced. Kliff, being the most experienced fighter against Justice with 17 survived duels, challenged him next, but his advanced age had caught up with him, and he was slain by Justice. Sola was the only other fighter at the tournament who had a chance of defeating Justice. She took that chance and, in a million-to-one chance, defeated and killed Justice.
  • Less than a year after the Justice incident, rumors of another Commander Gear sprouted. The UN flipped out again, offering 500,000 dollars to anyone who could find this Gear and kill it. Many tried, even pinpointing the Gear’s location, but none could even get to it, because for some reason, Testament was protecting it. Then, Sola showed up and defeated Testament again. She also defeated the Gear, who turned out to be a young girl named Dizzy. However, she spared her life, because she genuinely didn't care about what happened during the Crusades and wanted to be left alone. Someone else took the credit for the bounty, while Dizzy was taken in by a group of pirates who Sola had met through the tournament.
  • After Dizzy had been dealt with, Sola finally had the time and resources to not only go after That Man, but also a shadowy organization known as the PWAB (Post-War Administration Bureau) that had sprung up on the tail-end of the Crusades. However, one of That Man’s henchmen, a guitar-playing warlock known only as I-No has constantly been a thorn in her side, and Sola’s temper is about to reach boiling point…

Uh... it's ok if my sign up character involves two characters right? So long as it's needed? Theta is a young child with powerful magical abilities that help North in combat. But he's extremely shy and doesn't really talk to anyone but North.

Alright. Here we go.

• Name: North (Real name unknown)
• Age: Looks to be in his mid-20s early 30s
• Gender: Male
• Appearance:◊ Tall and built, but not extremely so. Has the physique of a soldier. Wears special enchanted armour, turned purple by said enchantments, that give North added protection as well as boost his strength and speed. He is, however, still human and can still be injured like one. (Looks like a fantasy style version of the standard Halo armour.)
• Personality: When on the battlefield North is a well-trained, stoic soldier that will do everything in his power to carry out his mission. When off the battlefield, he is a snarky, friendly individual with a cheerful disposition and protective, nurturing qualities. Looks out for the people he cares about.
• Powers and Abilities: Beyond his combat skills in hand-to-hand combat, from his time as an elite soldier of his kingdom, he has a number of magic spells that he uses in combat.
  • Ranged Spell: A spell that works in the same way a modern sniper rifle does. North can use this spell in conjunction with his Eagle Eye spell to be able to rapidly and accurately take out targets with ease form extreme distances. Can fire these from both hands simultaneously with extreme accuracy. Looks like a streak of red light that erupts from his finger tip. Can easily puncture armour and flesh, causing instant death. (It was interesting coming up with the magic version of a sniper rifle XD)
  • Eagle Eye: A spell that dramatically increases his eye-sight. Useful for scouting, spying and when using his long-range spell. Can also detect enemies and people through walls if the more powerful version is used in conjuction with Theta’s powers.
  • A number of small, short range but powerful attacks that range from explosive magics to fire magics. (Magic versions of guns)
• Backstory: North and his sister South were highly skilled and elite soldiers known for their teamwork and skill in magic-based combat. They were both chosen to be part of a secret combat force by one of their kingdom’s top alchemists and magicians, Leonard Church. Here they earned their nicknames, North and South, as they were both polar opposites in personality, just like North and South. During their time in this program, their skills increased and they were introduced to the next phase of the experiment. They were to be partnered with humanoid creatures born entirely of magic, which would help increase their already powerful magical abilities and give them more of an advantage in fighting the rival kingdom’s forces, which wished to wipe their kingdom out. North was paired with the magic creature designated as Theta due to his caring and nurturing nature, as Theta had a shy and child-like personality. A little while after this pairing, enough time for them to get used to each other and their skills, they were transported to the Votum.

• Age: Looks around 8-10. Real age unknown.
• Gender: Male
• Appearance:Wears simple red pants and shirt when in human form. When he has released his true form, he looks like himself, save that he is full of swirling magical energy and is entirely red. Short. Can spawn simple object to entertain himself with, they dispel after use however. Looks like -this◊ but with red eyes.
• Personality: Theta is extremely shy and withdrawn. Afraid of anyone he meets and always hiding behind him if he is not linked with him. He sees North as essentially his father and treats him as such. North does the same. Awkward and timid is the best way to describe him around anyone but North. In combat, however, Theta is very skilled and determined. Even once telling North to stop talking to him because he’d break his concentration. Adorkable.
• Powers and Abilities: Due to Theta being a magical being, his abilities and knowledge in magic are greatly enhanced to those of a human. However, being a magical being means that he has little in the way of physical strength, even when wearing his solid form. Because of this he is partnered with North to be able to unlock his full potential while also increasing North’s abilities in combat. Theta can ‘link’ with North by fusing his magical form with North’s body. By doing this, Theta can help North with his abilities and North can employ Theta’s powers without any limitations. He can also ‘talk’ to North while like this.
  • Theta’s powers consist of defensive powers only. Mainly those of a Barrier Warrior. He can use magical shields, primarily in the shape of a large dome that covers the space around North. They are transparent with a slight gold/white tinge. No form of magic can get in or out of them, forcing North and Theta to work together when using them. Theta is so precise at what he does that as North fires his magic, Theta can open and close a tiny hole in the shield to allow North’s magic to exit while also protecting against attacks. He also allows North to sense people through walls by enhancing his magical sense and spell Eagle Eyes.
• Backstory: Not much is known about Theta except that he was born of magic not too long before he was paired with North.

Age: 17-ish

Gender: Male

Appearance: Here ya go.◊

Personality: He's reluctant to make friends, but is still an extrovert. He tends to run away from his problems and fixes others'. He loves chemistry, and is extremely intelligent. He abuses his powers, and can't resist thieving when he sees the chance. He's reckless, but takes enough caution that he isn't caught.

Powers and Abilities: He has superhuman speed, healing, and he's incredibly durable.

Backstory: When he was younger, he absolutely adored the Flash, and designed an experiment to gain powers similar to the Flash's. He succeeded, and shortly after moved from his father's home to his mother's home in Central City (the Flash's area). He abused his powers by stealing, and still does. He's an excellent thief which the Rouges of the city have started to call "the Kid".

North is accepted, except for the instant death part of the spell, and for Theta. Like I said for Fluterrush, it's better if the partner to your character disappears, especially since your character is meant to be teleported all by himself to the ship.

I probably should have elaborated on the instant deat thing. It's like a bullet, so if it hits say the head or the heart its instant death. Anywhere else is eh.

And with Theta. I'll get rid of him if you wamnt me too. But I saw him as less a partner and more an addition to North's powers, since North can't use his shield powers without him or he risks killing himself. I could remove the making him solid part and just have him in his head? Or remove all together?

EDIT: I just remember. In the canon universe they have to be surgically implanted into the person, meaning they are more a part of them than anything. Could I do the same with this Theta? Make him just a magical part of North?

• Appearance: Lovely lady isn't she?◊
• Personality: She may look cold and tough on the outside, and for the most part, it is true. However, deep inside she's as soft and caring a person as she can allow to be. She also hates to be seen as weak by anyone.
• Powers and Abilities: Because of laziness...
• Backstory: Orphaned by the Space Pirates at a young age, Samus spent most of her childhood with an alien race called the Chozo, who designed her well known Power Suit. From there, she worked for the Galactic Federation, fighting off parasites called Metroids and defeated the Mother Brain. Afterwards, she quit the Federation and became a bounty hunter, fighting off Ridley and his forces for over a decade before she retired from bounty hunting and deciding to enter the political ring on Earth in America. A lenghty Senate run and a hard-fought campaign later, she became elected as the 61st and current President of the United States. She only uses her old Power Suit when the time comes.

Not exactly familiar with Canon!Samus so... what changed?

Well, she's old and President. What else can I change about her?

Doesn't seem like much of a change... what effect does these changes have on her personality?

Being President of the United States, the strictness that Samus had before she was elected is magnified tenfold. She always find the desire to take charge and never takes "no" for an answer. Many people around her and the American public find her to be, to say the very least, overbearing and arrogant, and she would certainly come across as this if one meets her.
