I'm complaining! I'm going to complain a whole lot!
Because how does it even happen? When in the last near-40 years have these two characters ever interacted other than Jen unsubtly asking about the other Mjollnir.
Thor is basically the actual boring stoic loser that people think Superman is.
........ When the fuck was Thor ever stoic?

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Thor as a character is completely defined by his physicality. He's a god and he's powerful and he will have words with thee, and that's it. The first two Thor movies (yes Dark World is good shut up) gave him a bombastic, adorkably friendly and gregarious personality that fit the character like a glove, and from what I've heard Ragnarok did much the same.
He seems like the exact type of dude Jen has historically liked to date
Also Thor has a lot of personality in the Simonson run

Forever liveblogging the AvengersI agree. Thor is kind of like an Aryan Wyatt Wingfoot, so definitely the type for Jen.
Also, they both like to smash in more ways than one; so ship accepted.
She actually got kicked out of Avengers mansion once because she kept bringing home hot, buff male models for one night stands
Forever liveblogging the AvengersMakes sense. Especially if one of those buff bois happen to be the supervillain The Juggernaut.
They can pretty much have sex at full go really.
A real destructo nookie there.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."She had a major crush on Hercules. Figured she'd want to trade up at some point.
My various fanfics.She once had a one night stand with Hercules and then made him do the walk of shame
Which takes real doing since Hercules competed in the original Olympics in the nude
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI'd imagine that Hercules is basically immune to shame. I mean. He's a God. He's lived on Mount Olympus. His dad turned into a swan and watersports to fuck women.
My various fanfics.But that aside, anyone reading the new Avengers series? I’ve seen some interesting scans

Forever liveblogging the AvengersIs Loki still an evil dick?
Jen even has an issue in her recent solo title which is all about her desire to re-enter the dating pool. She's dealing with her PTSD but admits that part of why she's struggiling is because she doesn't have much social fun in her life outside of her friendship with Hellcat, but then laments that all the normal people you meet are boring to her now, boring boring people that turn out to be killer robots.
So I'm not surprised she's gonna and hooked up with the likes of Thor, who is of course, a resident big fun.
But yeah, anyone reading the current Avengers title? I like the look of the roster, but I tend to be dissapoitned by ensable books.
First Avengers arc is meh, it mainly dealt with Celestials and the BC Avengers which is a dumb idea but this issue was pretty good as Aaron finally laid down the team dynamics. Apparently, they're going to swap out members as needed as Doctor Strange is a temp member. The team lineup seems overall strong.
Is it me, or have people just been apathetic to the Avengers comics since Bendis left?
And yeah, of all the ways to describe Thor, stoic is not one of them. Frankly, that's a more fitting description of Steve Rogers.

It's you.
With the FF home, I'm going to love seeing Franklin and Val and their boyfriend girlfriend drama. I don't know why, but the love lives of reality warpers like Franklin are hilarious to me: Thanos and Death, Kimset and Eternity, and even Nate Grey.
Wonder who Slott's going to ship with Franklin.
Random question:
What heroes have taken villains from Spider-Man?
The Xmen took Arcade;
DareDevil took the Kingpin;
The FF took the Sandman;
And The Incredible Hulk had Rhino for a bit.
Is there anyone else?

One Strip! One Strip!Mysterio was for a while showing a lot in Daredevil.
Norman Osborn during Dark Reign too?
And Anna Kravinoff is a Inhuman now, so they have to deal with her, I guess.
So, a bold claim: Kelly Thompson is the best action writer Marvel has.
My evidence: Her books consistently have the coolest fight layouts. Hawkeye, Rogue & Gambit, Mr. and Mrs. X. It happens a lot, more than for any other writer. And the fact that she gets so many great layouts tells me she's gotta be involved in them. Normally, I'd give the bulk of the layout credit to artists, but Thompson's books so routinely have amazing layouts that I have to figure she's writing them into her scripts.
Honestly, if Marvel has any sense, they'll be making her the sole UXM writer soon. They have no sense, so I'm sure Brisson and Rosenberg are both ahead of her in the queue for it, or for any other tentpole comics. But they really should be giving Thompson first choice for anything she wants to do.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.I also like what I've seen of her West Coast Avengers stuff, which I really should pick up sometime soon.
Oh God! Natural light!
Yeah. The current Avenger writer seems to be trying to ship Thor and Shulkie as an item. I ain’t complaining as long as they follow through with it unlike Bendis with Tykeclops and X-23.
