It's nice to see him being calmer in his reviews, that way when he gets angry it actually means something.
Remember! Hyperbole is an exaggeration made for comedic effect, and shouldn't be taken literally!Wow, it really is impossible talking about this guy without resorting to complaining. Yeesh.
So... he did a bunch of E3 videos where he asked the same generic questions over and over. He's now resorting to the awful "Nintendo is Kiddy" argument these days. Almost like he's trying to appeal to the Call Of Duty crowd.
Then another contest, giving away douchey looking jewelery. He hasn't posted anything in two weeks. This is someone who claims "this is my job, this is how I make a living". I don't think he understands how that works.

Quite "fustrating", isn't it?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatGood lord...
Yesterday he posted a "spoof" on E-begging that was obviously attacking the AVGN. The annoying part is that people that clearly knew he was wrong in the past, suddenly came out and praised him because he agreed with their twisted viewpoints. What these people forget is that Bores is guilty of everything he made fun of in that video. His contests? No different from Kickstarter or e-begging.
Complete and utter hypocrisy.
Wait how is his contest the same as charging too much for a game that is only wanted ironically?
Remember! Hyperbole is an exaggeration made for comedic effect, and shouldn't be taken literally! As far as I know, his contests require that you subscribe to his channel to enter.
It's not exactly 1:1, but there is also the Deal Dash scandal as well...
This hand of mine is burning red! It's glow is calling me to defeat you!But that's totally free, and it makes sense that his fans would already be subscribed. Why would someone who isn't subscribed enter the contest at all?
Remember! Hyperbole is an exaggeration made for comedic effect, and shouldn't be taken literally! He's actually gotten angry at people that entered but weren't subscribed. Constantly saying now "You have to be subscribed to win".

But why would you enter if you weren't subscribed? How is that in anyway a scam?
Remember! Hyperbole is an exaggeration made for comedic effect, and shouldn't be taken literally!Because his fans don't listen.
Plus, he doesn't pick the winners, his mother does. She only picks the most hardcore fans, the ones that will defend IG no matter what he does. Meaning the casual fans have no chance of "winning".
Also, James and Cinemassacre have severely apologized and admitted it was a mistake, and that they should have looked into it further before agreeing to it.
He posted another new video, his first "I Rate the 80's" in seven months. This one on Colorforms, and it's full of the usual research failure and awful jokes we've come to expect.
EDIT: Oh.

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.New "review" out. X-Men on NES.
Here's my recap: http://irategamersucks.blogspot.com/2012/10/the-mutant-power-of-creating-inhumanely.html
What's it matter if he "pervs" over the women in the video games?

Angry reviewers reviewing other angry reviewers. Oh joy.
I'm a skeptical squirrelYou guys do realize that the author of the blog is the same person posting those links, right?
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelI was going to point out the same thing.
After 10 months and side-lining to do reviews of old NES games based on new movies, he returned to his story line and......... it hurts.

I actually use to like this guy a lot when I was around 12 or 13 years old. But looking back at his videos nowadays, I just kind of cringe. I won't say too much as to avoid this becoming a complaint thread, but I will say that his stuff isn't anywhere near as entertaining as I use to think it was.
Whoa, this got bumped.
That seems to be a common thing when it comes to IG. His fans outgrow him. I recommend reading this post from a fan of mine. He went through the same thing.
Lots of stuff happened since the last post. He finished his "storyline" using copyrighted footage (which he put on a DVD), he went on hiatus (which he confused with retirement), he doubled down hard on his ghost stuff, he tried to keep a consistent schedule (and failed), and his main show has gone from "looking at bad games" to "bashing classic games for stupid reasons for views".
None of that surprises me, really. If I remember correctly he did finally do a video talking about AVGN though.
I'll say this, IG really does make for great parody fuel even to this day. I've watched a lot of parodies of the guy, and they almost make IG's very existence {That's not aimed at Bores himself, just the series} worth it.
Edit: Having just read that blog post, I'm shocked at how eerily similar his story and mine are. There are some differences {I had been a fan of AVGN long before knowing about IG, for example}, but overall there's a lot in common.

Bores has been flip-flopping on if the Irate Gamer is retired. Right now he's in "I'm considering Kickstarter" mode.
Of course, it's likely to hide that's really working on his secret channel. Minecraft Puppet Steve. It's... pretty bad, even for kids.
The last thread got locked since it become a "Just Complaining" thread, so let's try to avoid that again. Not going to be easy.
He released a new retro review after seven months so I thought this would be a good time to open this.
What did he review? Silver Surfer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iiAapiwZbI
... Make your own assumptions.
