Mate, that is a very private question that I am not going to answer, and I'm kind of insulted to even be asked that.
Does that mean gay marriage is illegal in Mexico?
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. No? Gay marriage was legalized at the end of 2022.
Yep, gay marriage is now legal in all Mexico and not just in some states. Ditto with abortion. In fact, there's a public hospital near my house that has start doing them since many months ago.

Thought I'd post here. Some of the foreign volunteers included a Colombian who signed on the flag of the Norman Battalion.
Well, it seen my goverment in venezuela have being pretty shitty out of late.
The first thing was when the police raid a LGTB bar, at first the story presented was they storm what it was a gay orgy of 22 people there(and I admit I laught in how weird that was) under some weird as hell charges like indecent acts(which it can be as they were all insight) and sonic contamination(yeah), at all it sound like shit post.....Until a interview release by a couple of them show that in fact, not such orgy happen and the police just show up, with hardly an order and detain a lot of people there in terrible conditions until they were release in part because presure for LGTBQ organization which describe as....well a homophobic really.(Which yeah now I feel like asshole for beliving the media in first place).
Now thing have being worst when they censor the movie "Simon" about a protester that stood in the protest of 2017 and wanted political asylum in US(he was deported back in case you are wondering) trying to take it back from theaters.
Also they disappear a students and put him under case of terrorism and aparently torture him,.
Sorry just....needed to vent a little.

Every time someone claims to be realistic is a dour cynic in disguise. So, how is the Presidential race looking in Argentina?
Edited by Blueace on Sep 23rd 2023 at 3:44:53 PM
Wake me up at your own risk.Argentinian here and the answer is completely awful. All candidates are terrible, although some are worse than others, and there's a real chance that a libertarian clown could be elected.
Does anyone know what exactly is going on with Guatemala's election?
I'm seeing something about a lot of back and forth that the guy who won supposedly committed fraud and that there's a huge conflict between the Attorney General's office and the Supreme Electoral Tribunal.
The guy who won is an anti-establishment anti-corruption candidate. The establishment actually managed to cancel several parties before the elction, but since he was under the radar, they never noticed until it was too late. So the government are trying to find anything to say that he commited fraud (and they haven't been able to find anything) on the idea that since he was not even polling highly, he must have commited fraud. And they have already taken unconstitutional measures against the Supreme Electoral Tribunal.
Yeah what's going on definitely looks mega shady. I saw that even the State Department was calling out the Guatemalan Attorney General's office for trying to interfere with the election.
Daniel Noboa wins Ecuadorian presidential election by 52-48.
Don’t know much about the guy, but "35yo banana millionaire" isn’t the most reassuring resume.
Then again, his opponent was a left-wing populist who's part of a party that played apologetics to Chavez so...
Every time someone claims to be realistic is a dour cynic in disguise.Noboa was one of the many names implicated in the Panama Papers. Technically, all that jazz would have made it where he shouldn't have even been able to run for president, to my knowledge?
But then again, what even is law in Ecuador anymore? Everything's been going sideways the past decade and a half.

Diplomat talking about Argentine "willingness" to go to China for currency swapping since they're getting heat from the IMF. Ecuador has done it when Correa was in power and the country still continue to allow it.

So, Massa made an upset win on the first round of the elections of Argentina this year.
Every time someone claims to be realistic is a dour cynic in disguise. It's still an uphill battle for him though. Bullrich (who came in third) endorsed Milei, so most of her voters will probably go to him.
ok boomerI pray to God that Millei doesn't win, the Argentinians really don't deserve a libertarian in power.
Instead of focusing on relatives that divide us, we should find the absolutes that tie us.Well, his party has won zero provincial elections, so...

Venezuelan opposition voted María Corina Machado to rep them.
Caracas, however, did say that she's not allowed to contest the elections for corruption according to comptroller general Elvis Amorsolo (government). He has yet to show actual evidence.
As of this month, Juan Guaidó's allowed to live in exile in Florida. He has a warrant out for money laundering, treason, and usurping public functions.
I get the feeling a few people in my family are not gonna be happy about this lol.
