I bet a lot of the Z Warriors have funny stories of how they beat up Vegeta once. Even Krillin has one.

Sure it was a request but still pretty funny

Vegeta let himself get blasted so that he can get stronger to beat Frieza......only to be completely destroyed by Frieza.

Krillin was also the one who threw the Spirit Bomb. Granted, Goku charged it and Gohan reflected it, so that was a team effort, but Krillin was a major part of that team.

A thought, if I were to start collecting the manga (and I mean both OG & Z) what would the best edition be?

Also does the Dragon Ball: A Visual History art-book that was released last month add anything new compared to the Dragon Ball: The Complete Illustrations art-book that came out in 2008?

Cause I already have the latter & I'm debating if I should get the former for Christmas.

I can’t imagine any meeting between an adult/current day Vegeta and his dad - reanimated or otherwise - that doesn’t end with Vegeta having to kill him.

That is a good point. I don't think Vegeta cares too much about his father or even his brother. For the latter it is more that he is a wimp and for the former, it is because he doesn't care for his old man.

Vegeta was a cold ass bitch back in the day.

The funny part is that King Vegeta, if DBSB is any indication, took great pride in his son. So I think it actually would be funny to see how he'd react to his son't current predicament

I mean, he is the third strongest pure blooded Saiyan, living or otherwise, and quite on par with the second.

However, the strongest is the one who King Vegeta felt threatened by, and the one on par with his son was a low class.

I mean Mistare's whole rant about how Vegeta is just kinda 'shrugged' accepted into the group without redeeming himself and the other characters are constantly showing concern for him is pretty spot on.

How did he do that? I think you meant YAMCHA, because Vegeta never stole Krillin's booty call...unless he too fucked Bulma...which wouldnt be out of the realm of possibility.

He's referring to how Vegeta is indirectly responsible for 18 getting absorbed by Cell, and how Krillin seems to hold no ill will over it.

But he got to do the deed later on lol.

I'm pretty sure he does but it's not like he can do anything against Vegeta besides insulting him.

Itt been said in the Android/Cell saga that Super Saiyan before being mastered wasted a lot of energy, which is why Vegeta eventually got wrecked by 18.

So, did Goku got affected by this drawback on his fight with Freezer? I assume he did to some extent, since not only was this his first time using the form but was also pretty beat up before unlocking it.

Frieza suffers from the same drawback too so it isn't noticeable even if the drainage problem existed back then.

Yeah, I assumed it was mitigated by the fact his opponent also had the same drawback.

Freezer must be even worse considering Goku spend transformed longer than Freezer was in Full Power mode and he still was weaker and ran out of energy sooner than Goku, wow.

Eh, while they tend to get pretty upset in the heat of the moment, the Dragonball gang is capable of some remarkable forgiveness once given enough time and as long as the other guy isn't actively continuing to be awful, and tends to know that "forgive now so we can work together against a greater threat" is a way better option than "continue to hold a grudge."

Yea, but it gets to a point of being pretty hilarious. Freeza is actively still threatening the heroes and Goku's only reaction is "well he helped us out that one time, so it's all good"

Not only that, but when Goku did let Frieza go (for less than altruistic reasons true, but still), the latter immediately tried to kill him again...and then tried to kill him a second time when Goku spared his life again.

Hell, he flat out admits he was just gonna kill him if Trunks hadn't gotten to him first....and then he's suddenly willing to let Frieza go again in ROF...and even decides to revive him above using anyone else in for the Tournament of Power. That last one worked out, but now Frieza is an active long term threat again (as shown in Broly) that Goku seems to be uninterested in doing anything about considering his crimes and his admittance that he's basically going to conquer the universe all over again.

It's pretty ridiculous how forgiving Goku has suddenly become to be honest.

Freeza keeps bringing awesome fights. And once he cant do that, he'll be too weak to matter.
