Maybe if Shantza's fight lasted longer than half an episode, we could've gotten that. As asinine as what I'm about to say sounds, I feel like each fighter in the tournament should've had at least 1 focus episode. Sure, that'd bloat the arc to kingdom come, but it'd be nice to get more insight into each fighter and universe.
Gavan, Let's get jiggy!Boy was it dumb to handle 3 fighters individually in the span of 1 episode. None of them got any time to breathe.
Really they should have been handled all at once. Could have made a decent combination.
Edited by slimcoder on Jul 14th 2019 at 3:14:14 AM
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yeah, the episode should have been "Shantsa creates illusions of the fighters eliminated by Universe 7 in the tournament who torment their eliminators. Shantsa has been watching the tournament very carefully, so he is able to replicate their personalities closely. While the U7 fighters are unable to hurt the illusions, Damon and Gamisaras are able to attack the U7 fighters under the guise of attacks from the illusary fighters".
I don't even think space hurts Saiyans beyond "no air to breathe". Maybe that's how Nappa and Vegeta blow up the bug planet in filler-they do it fast enough to not worry about air. And yes, they speak, but much like the DC and Marvel universes characters can go faster than light while inexplicably seeing the light that's slower than them
Universe 4 was wasted, hot damn. I know Universe 11 are the main opponents, but you could at least make Universe 4 a tough second. Really, the only universes to provide any meaningful challenge was 11 and the already established 6.
The reason for the less than stellar performance is probably because they had only 2 days to make a team. 6 already had half the team and knowledge of Saiyans/Namekians. 11 was a superhero team that was formed a while back. Universe 7 has known each other for years at this point. The others were probably a lot harder to determine who should enter. There are probably fighters stronger in the less impressive universes, it's just they were harder to find and they couldn't get them in the 48 hours. At least, I hope because I don't want them to keep adding new multiverses just because they ran out of strong guys in half the multiverse in just one arc
You could probably get away with a bunch of Broly/Dabura clauses when it comes to the other universes
Their strongest Fighters were unknown or like Freeza seen as a bad idea 'Lord knows that was 10's problem
Rumushi just picked guys with High strength levels but clearly little battle experience
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!Universe 3 was a challenge too, in the anime anyway. It took half of universe 7 to put them down, and even that came down to tenacity and flaw exploitation, raw power and fighting skills didn't cut it. Manga 3 was a joke, almost literally.
And the idea that they have to keep adding universes and or expanding the multi universe concept, well they certainly could, but given the last two arcs with Broly and Moro haven't, I don't know why that's anyone's fear. I supposed another 6 universes showing up is common fanon, but 1, it's fanon, and 2, it's fanon based on the fact there were eighteen universes before Zen'oh erased a third of them. The common fan fic "twist", "Oh my gosh, he destroyed more than six, and now they're back too", is still a logical jump. So if official material goes that route it was foreshadowed, and fans wanted it.
Personally my fan fic would be that those other six+ universes aren't coming back, but there is an alternate timeline where those universes were not wiped away. And now you see why they really should have been. Alternatively, Goku takes the Uub route and wishes for the universes to be restored in a condition that pleases Zen'oh, if only because that's how the wish 17 made should have been worded, even if Grand Priest/Zen'oh decided to overrule it.
Alternatively to that, the return of the gone universes causes macrocosmic upheaval as the universes suddenly shift positions so that their numbers add up to 19. The Super Dragon Balls can mitigate the devastation, but are now spread among four universes instead of two. And one of the Super Balls in six has been broken in the cataclysm, forcing the use of the universe six Namek dragon balls to fix it, because we heard you wanted another dragon ball hunt so we put a dragon ball hunt in your dragon ball hunt so you can gather dragon balls while you gather dragon balls.
That's why he wants you to have the money. Not so you can buy 14 Cadillacs but so you can help build up the wastesI'm still expecting an arc set in and focusing on U1, with the gods as the main antagonists. There's just too much ominous shit surrounding that universe and its gods.
Their Kaioshin, Anat, is the only one who was totally on-board with the Tournament of Power and he even agreed that it was for the best that the lesser universes be destroyed. Their God of Destruction, Iwne, has explosive bursts of emotion, and apparently he looks like Shiva underneath his fur. Their Angel, Awamo, can sense everything.
Fun fact: Vegeta is canonically 1 centimeter shorter and 3 pounds lighter than Makunouchi Ippo, the main character of Hajime no Ippo.
Pushover, hurry up and do a Kochirator move set already!
That's why he wants you to have the money. Not so you can buy 14 Cadillacs but so you can help build up the wastesWhat, for FighterZ?! You are aware that the three robots making up Koichiarator are all individually larger than Broly, right? Koichiarator is huge. I guess you could maybe fudge the size a bit, make Koichiarator much smaller, but it still doesn't have a lot of moves.
Honestly, it'd be easier to make a moveset for Anilaza in Xenoverse than to make a moveset for Koichiarator in FighterZ, just because Anilaza has so many more unique attacks.
Yeah Koichiarator is cool and all, but it got overshadowed by Anilaza in a big way.
Fine. Before fighting, Paparoni either tells the opponent the modified warriors of universe three are indestructible, or is happy Koitsukai will be able to gather valuable data. After fighting, Paparoni either boasts of his genius modifications or comments on Koitsukai's findings.
Koitsukai is the player character. It is either as tall or a little taller than Cell, but bulkier. It has jump jets that allow it more airtime than other fighters, or to rapidly descend to the ground. Instead of basic ki blasts it extends it's arms. It's level one special is an eye beam. Another other level one summons Bollarator, who whips its arm at the opponent. It's third level one summons Panchia, who releases homing missiles. It's final level one is simply Koitsukai slamming into the opponent at the size Koitsukai should actually be. Koitsukai's level 3 involves combining with Panchia and Bollarator into Koichirator, and then smashing the enemy.
Dramatic finish vs Gohan. Bollarator and Panchia fight while Koitsukai scans Gohan's movements. Bollarator is told the path Gohan will jump in and told to extend his arm but Gohan grabs it and whips him into the other two modified warriors.
Finish vs Goku(SSGSS) or Vegeta(SSGSS). Koichirator withstands their attacks and Paparoni laughs. Koichirator is then toppled by a beam from Gohan.
Finish vs 18. With the robots down, Paparoni declares he will save his universe even at the cost of his life and becomes Anilaza. Anilaza pushes #17 off the edge of the fighting stage but #18 takes the fall to save him.
Finish vs 17. Same as vs 18, except Anilaza flies away and forms a constantly expanding death ball that overwhelms multiple beam attacks. 17 suddenly jumps through the ball and punches him in the forehead. Anilaza is then blown away by beams.
Because Koichirator is clearly a ripoff of the Pilaf machine, should I do that one too?

That's why he wants you to have the money. Not so you can buy 14 Cadillacs but so you can help build up the wastesThe Pilaf Machine certainly has a lot more moveset potential than Koitsukai, Panchia, and Bollerator.
Now here's a challenge, any of the Gods of Destruction that aren't Beerus or Champa. Those characters only have 1 fight from the anime, 1 fight from the manga, and Heroes cards as references. I wonder how much moveset potential could y'all squeeze from that?

Gavan, Let's get jiggy! The manga gives them enough at least.
Ita time for another Mark video, this week is Piccolo.
I didn't care much for the stuff about Piccolo since it's pretty much stuff we all figured out: he's useless and has no real purpose as a character beyond comic relief.
What I did find interesting is his explanation on why Vegeta did not fall into the same trapping and is still relevant to this very day.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.People relate more to a whiny tantrum thrower?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."You can joke about it,but he's still more relevant than any other character
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Well of course, someone has to job to establish of the Power Level of the antagonists.
TBC I don't dislike Geets, I just like grilling him.
Edited by slimcoder on Jul 18th 2019 at 11:52:39 AM
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."That's still more of a role than anyone else.
You know, you really have to wonder where Broly fits into that. He certainly is not going to displace Vegeta as the #2 guy. But unlike every other bad guy turned good, Broly actually is stronger than both Goku and Vegeta and is a Saiyan on top of that.
So he's got the power level, and the potential to sell more toys.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Huh turns out thereβs a world record for the Worldβs Largest Kamehameha at 250 people.
Which just got broken today at San Diego Comic Con by 786 people.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The latest chapter of the manga just leaked... At the Galactic Prison the guards are doing its job and jailing the Macareni siblings, who just arrived after being catch in previous chapters. A big ray of light crosses the space from Namek to the prison, Porunga power frees all the prisoners, who realize "Moro-sama" succeeded. The prisoners steal a ship and move to New Namek. Back to the present, Irico, Merus, Jaco and Esca get the message from the HQ and realize what was Moro's wish. The stolen ship appears in Namek and shots a big laser to New Namek's surface, Moro gets aboard during the chaos. The sparks that appear when Moro eats energy cover the entire ship, looks like he ate them too... but they are fine and go for Goku, Vegeta and the Grand Kaioshin. SSB Goku, SSB Vegeta and the Grand Kaioshin kick their asses... until Goku and Vegeta drop to SSG, Moro is taking their energy again. They keep losing forms until they can only use their basic SS form, and what's worse the spark from before was Moro giving part of his energy to the other prisoners to make them good combatants and EVEN WORSE the energy Goku and Vegeta lose while they fight goes for them. Goku and Vegeta drop to base form and the Grand Kaioshin is too tired for his fight with Moro so Merusu and Jaco go to help while Esca triest to restore a little of Grand Kaioshin's energy. Moro's second hand sees Irico's ship and tries to destroy it, but Merusu stops him, this makes Goku realize all of them can (and should) escape now. Grand Kaioshin teleports with Esca and Goku with the others, except for Vegeta who is having a crisis about how the mighty saiyans were proud of their physical power, yet they are being trashed by magic tricks. Vegeta makes up his mind and flies to Irico's ship, Goku teleports with Jaco and Merusu to the Galactic Patrol HQ. In the ship Vegeta and Irico finally leave New Namek, but Vegeta won't let Irico drive to the HQ, he has its own plan. New destiny: Planet Yardrat

Gavan, Let's get jiggy! That's a pretty mundane wish honestly!
Secret SignatureMudane, but effective I suppose.
Man, it's funny to see non brute force trumping all the Saiyan's power, though Energy Absorption is pretty broken, especially when you have as much as Goku and Vegeta.
Is someone besides Goku gonna learn Instant Transmission? Is that Vegeta's plan? How would that help exactly?
One Strip! One Strip!
Honestly with their gimmicks I'm surprised one of them didn't do the Fighting the Nightmare trick just to have
Where everybody is fighting some form of their Fears which all would use the fear that Zeno being the fickle dicks they are won't follow through on their promise and just wipe them all out just cause it amuses them.. I mean Remember how he 'Helped' with Zamasu
Goku is stuck fighting Fused Zamasu whose blaming him for all of this
Vegeta is haunted by Raditz, Nappa and his Father , over his Saiyan Pride
Gohan is getting beaten up by his Younger Self and Cell
Piccolo Stuck between Majin Buu/Super Buu since I don't think Piccolo ever saw Kid Buu
Jiren is fighting the Demon that killed his master
Etc etc
They Sorta did with the one that made the "Dead" Fighters return
They saw through that in like five seconds
