No, I don't have any Seven Samurai fanfics to pimp...not yet, anyway...
I just noticed that Kurosawa's Seven Samurai was one of the only movies that I looked up on Fanfiction.net that didn't have a section yet. The way I see it, it's begging for some fanfic.
So, if anybody out there is a fan of that movie (or if you just think samurai are awesome) how would you start off a fanfic picking up where the movie left off? If you haven't seen the movie, it's simple: seven wandering samurai unite to defend a village from a bunch of bandits, they have an epic hour-long battle, and only three of them survive. The movie end with the remaining three ( Kambei, Katsushiro, and Shichiroji), now Fire-Forged Friends, wandering off to find their next adventure.
A fanfic that starts out with three veteran samurai wandering off and looking for adventure? Hell, the possibilities are endless!
Ideas?
