Bounty Hunters: Apocalypse discussion

An empty post. I was going to say something but I forgot so I wrote blargh.

@Aralyn: The glock the guard was using isn't actually there. There's some ammo, but the gun itself is missing.

Anyway, this is a quick drop in at the moment. Got something to take care of before I can go post in the main thread. I'll be back in an hour or two, I think.

Well, got pretty distracted today while I was awaiting more posts. But before I go to bed there is a couple things I should mention here in discussion.

For starters, I've got work tomorrow, so there's definitely not going to be any main posts from me until pretty late.

Also, @Falkon: Could you specify what Blight is shooting at? There's three targets currently. (The walker inside and the two runners outside.)

But I still don't have time to drop in...Maybe forty days later, after the exam.

Anyway, hey guys. I'm here now but I've got some crap on my mind, giving a little writer's block. (Nothing serious like last time. Just me being a derp.)

Also, tomorrow I've gotta go take the next step towards getting my driver's license. I shouldn't be forced back as much as work did today, but I will still not be on until a bit later than I usually get on.

EDIT: Well, I'm sitting here at first thinking "I should get a post in before I go to bed" but then I realize I'm still not quite up for it and whatever I could get posted now would be kinda rushed and not well thought out. So, sorry guys but I'm gonna wait until tomorrow when I can get a more comprehensive and hopefully better posting job done.

Okay Could the GM write in a convent entrance point soon?

A convenient entrance point? Hmm, with the current situation that's a tad tricky... Best I can think of would be if your character had been on his way to Fairfax for whatever reason and arrives as this is still happening.

I'm not sure what you'd be looking for from me on that part. Though if you had something in mind you could request it here or in a PM. If other posts don't happen I'd probably edit it into my last post.

Whoop, got distracted yesterday, sorry. And today is my birthday so I just got back from being out with my folks. I'm not 100% certain what to post right now, so I may be holding off on that for a while.

But, in the meantime I can give a heads up in here: This coming week has my schedule pretty full. I'm working on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Plus I've gotta go to the DMV to try and get my driver's permit on Tuesday. So, yeah, until next weekend, expect posting from me to be sparse.

Alright, my busy work week is finally over. I've got a writing project and potential stuff with friends coming up, but I'm still a lot more free this weekend than I was during the week. I have yet to know just how busy I'll be past the weekend though.

So anyway, I know why I've been busy, so what's up with you guys? Finally decided you couldn't stand me anymore or just busy with those virtual lions again?

I can edit my last post if the problem is simply people not knowing how to respond again.

Waiting for someone to give me guidance to a target so I know who/where to shoot.

I just don't have anything to post.

Ok I've finished archive bingeing the main bounty hunty thread. I've decided on a during apocalypse story for Kintra but for my idea i'll need some info on the effects of Wolf's-bane on werewolves. Oh and firock do you mind if i suggest a new demon type? It's a creature I made that I like to share. (No i don't mean the muffin-bat.)

Yeah I've been trying to think about what wolf's bane should do to Werewolves. Kinda forgot it when I wrote the TYCMAK. My current thought is that chewing on or consuming wolf's bane suppresses the Lycan transformation; plus a few scientists have experimented on developing a cure for Lycans with it, but nothing yet has been permanent.

At least, that's my current idea, and what I'll probably go with.

You can go ahead and suggest pretty much anything; I'm not going to get mad just over that. I can't know if I'd use it or not until I know what it is. Either post it here or send me a PM.

Yeah I havent been around much cause life has gotten pretty hectic recently. With work and trying to find a new car and partially because I just plain forgot, but I'm around although it doesn't seem like it.

Well in some movies I've watched and books I've read wolf's bane can cure werewolves. But, only if it's taken before their first full moon. in D&D it needs to be taken within the hour. as for my demon:

They are called Shadows.

They have skin blacker than night and glowing red eyes.

their claws can grow up to 10cm long.

Sunlight doesn't harm a Shadow but it hurts their eyes.

they are mostly solitary and hunt using stealth.

There's some more things but I'll PM Firock for those if he likes the demon.

@gbrngfol: They sound a lot like what I've made Ghouls be already, just more stealthy. I think I'll pass, but I appreciate the thought, really.

@DAcriz: It's fine; real life is more important than these RPs. That's a policy I've kept for a long time and have no inclination to abandon now. It would especially hypocritical of me to do otherwise since I'm having a very similar issue of being really busy too. Thanks for stopping in and explaining at least, and I hope your troubles get sorted out.

And in that vain of me also being really busy, here's the scoop for this upcoming week: Every day starting tomorrow until Saturday I have something going on. Some will take less of my time than others, but the fact still remains. Lets see, it's like... Work, doctor appointment, other doctor appointment, work again, trip to the DMV, then finally a social event that was planned a while back.

So yeah, things will probably continue to be slow for the time being.
