There's Old Money, really loved that ep.
Abe missing Homer when selling his miracle tonic and them reconciling at the old barn as it burns down.

Yeah, but because Homer didn't want to listen to Abe.
Homer did listen; he just didn't agree. Huge difference.

And Homer did keep Abe from losing Bea's money and the retirement home got an upgrade so I think Homer made up for his blunder.
see my completed Tangled (Varian) fanfic collection! https://archiveofourown.org/works/24467056/chapters/59049532To be fair, Homer was already forgiven at that point.
Now that I think about it, it has been consistent that the retirement home is one of the better looking places after this.
Old Money's ending is kinda depressing knowing everything goes back to status quo afterwards, especially following "Million Dollar Maybe" that makes clear the staff ultimately have right to confiscate any Throw the Dog a Bone moment that prevents the seniors being lifeless and easy to manage.

So I’m currently watching the episode where Ned moves away.
I’m just thinking “there’s factually nothing wrong with what the girls were doing, but of course Ned and Marge are the only ones who are offended by it”.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!they used his house to shoot videos of pillows fights between them, yeah thats a dick move
New theme music also a boxAh yeah. Legit didn’t think of that. He seemed more upset at what they were filming slightly more than that it was in his house.
Yeah I definitely see how that’s a dick move.
I also just remembered that Bart and Milhouse were watching stuff they shouldn’t have been. I have no idea how I forgot that aside from me being an idiot.

You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!I get that they banned Stark Raving Dad because of MJ, but I am surprised they kept Mr. Lisa's Opus.
Whats the latter episode about?
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!It was basically a Simpsons future episode, with Lisa thinking back to her birthdays. And the relevant point here is that Bart basically added a verse to the birthday song every year with the help of the same man.

Wake me up at your own risk. The fact Michael Jackson didn't voice Kompowsky in that episode (because, y'know... he was dead) is probably why that episode is still up.
Good day!
I had recently rewatched "My Sister, My Sitter" and now have a question: whether it's Moral Event Horizon for Bart?
No.
Moral Event Horizon is a moment when a character either becomes irredeemably evil, or does something so terrible that it's a black mark against them for the rest of the series.
It's not "This character did something bad, but it's played for laughs, it's forgotten in the next episode and no one ever brings it up again". We've been trying to curb that misuse for a while now.

I'm asking because rewatching it x-th time I watched it as a troper (not as a casual fan for whom old Simps is Safety Blanket) and was surprised by Bartholomew being complete POS for no reason. And I really like Bart more than Liza.
It was pretty clear why Bart misbehaved so badly: he was upset and frustrated by being babysat by his little sister. I've got an older brother and if I had ever tried to be an authority figure to him he'd have laughed and probably done his best to undermine me. Sometimes siblings are little shits to each other.
see my completed Tangled (Varian) fanfic collection! https://archiveofourown.org/works/24467056/chapters/59049532OK, i got it, but it was... just too much. I like Bart's frantics (like in "Faith Off"), but...
P.S. Sorry for probable thread derailing.

It’s more like that Bart took issue with having his younger sister babysit him. Remember he was expecting his grandfather or aunts to babysit them.
Like Ralph, Rod and Todd took no issue with being babysat by someone who is same age/younger than them. But Bart absolutely would.
This isn’t a MEH for Bart as he does regret his actions at the end, IIRC.
And it’s important to note that Bart and Lisa have the same sibling dynamic as Lucy and Linus from Peanuts.

You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!if they start bringing up Complete Monsters I'll hit that hollar so fast
New theme music also a box2 Ultimatum
Horizon amd Monsters are not related, IIRC. And, by the way, there are some examples at episodes YMMV (like Homer framing Marge for DUI in Co-dependence Day). It's not monstrous, anyway, just scummy.
Anyway, I've got the answer and don't want to de-rail the thread even further. Thanks for explanations and sorry for off-topic.
yes they are actually.
New theme music also a box
There's also "Lisa's First Word", where it was shown that Abe sold his home to help Homer and Marge purchase a new house.
And then Homer stuck him in the retirement home afterwards
