There are no rules or restrictions as long as everything gets labeled properly.
There is the distinct possibility that it will, however, prompt a few eyerolls.

Well, you should try to avoid adding subjective tropes of your own works. Other than that, there are no rules.

I personally am of the opinion that making a tropes page for your own work is...not the thing, but works pages are free and it's perfectly allowed.

Let's say for the sake of discussion that I am a brand new member to this site and have a fanfiction in progress that I want to make a description page with all its various tropes laid out.
One, what are the rules for making a tropes page? Do you have to get it approved by a governing body? Are there strict requirments for what qualifies as eligible to have a page made of it?
Two, assuming that I can make a page for it, what is the process for doing so?
