Much better than the previous opening which, while I like the song, am not fond of the moeblob artstyle they went with
Star Ocean The Second Story Sequel ‘Blue Sphere’ Localization Requires Fan Support, Says Director.
She/Her | Currently cleaning N/ADunno why people think Star Ocean 3 is "being shunned by the devs" when they always reference it. The remake already makes a call forward to the Out Of Place Artifact.
SO3's pretty much the end of the timeline at this point, unless the devs decide to make a new game after that one that handwaves what happened. Such as mostly going over the normal stuff that happened with the Vendeeni while avoiding speaking of the 4D world and the entire universe being a videogame. And we know people would have a problem with that too.
"In a move surprising absolutely no one"But there were two more games afterwards, weren't there?
One Strip! One Strip!Three games, but nah, they all took place prior to 3 in the timeline.
6 is the closest we've gotten back to the era of 3, but even then it's still two centuries off.
Really?
I had no idea that 4, 5, and 6 were prequels.
That's a hell of a thing.
One Strip! One Strip!Specifically, 4 is a prequel to the whole franchise, showcasing how the first humans traverse the stars to find new life.
5 and 6 take place between 2 and 3 and feature descendants of 2's main characters as playable characters (Not as the protagonists though)
6 also has some races from 3 too.
I don't mind 3 being the end point, just dispeling the idea that the devs seem to hate 3 when they don't. Hell the gacha game apparently gave 3 characters plenty of love.
Anyway, the demo is really great! Shame about the cut-off point being Krosse Cave because you'll be asking for more.
I forgot though, did they confirm that the SE dub returned or were these just the same recordings in PSP? Because if it's the latter once again the 10 Wise Men will have voiceless fights up until the fire guy.

There's a demo for 2?
One Strip! One Strip!Yeah it's in all storefronts. Let's you play up to three hours or after you finish Krosse Cave, whichever comes first. Progress carries over to the main game. You can't advance over level 12 though.
And man, the spells are vastly improved. Wind Blade now shoots like five projectiles in a fanned direction, Laser Beams is now some weird moving orb that shoots down while chasing enemies, etc. Although apparently there will still be "stop time" spells.

It's hard to follow up on 3 because of the sheer scale it went for. Erasing the entire dimension the universe is in is a very hard scale to follow. At that point, all you can od is go for prequels or severely scale down to more personal adventures. But since the point of the series is world-saving JRPG + Star Trek-inspired exploration, I don't think they can realistically scale down a sequel to 3.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerThe only way they could is if they retconned SO 3.
"In a move surprising absolutely no one"And from what we've seen most of the "big" conflicts in older games were mostly due to Sphere meddling shit to make things exciting, so while conflicts post "Sphere closure" can still happen they'd probably smaller scale compared to the previous games.
I wonder if we'll see assist cameos from 3. 6 already has one in the demo.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s possible for cosmic threats to exist beyond 3, but they’d also likely happen with less frequency.
After all, all it took to alter reality and do things that were improbable was for three kids with special genes to exist, and the universe existing beyond their annihilation shows the possibility of others finding such secrets as well.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I wanna make a page for Star Blue Sphere but I suck at making them. The only page I made alone without any help was the Elpidio Valdes cartoons page and it sucked and did not thrive at all. I want this one to be done right and genuinely thrive becaue Tri Ace really wants online input for not only remaking it but also translating it. I think this could get it remade/translated so please HELP!
I know This Is A Wiki but I need help I cant do it without advice.
EDIT: I DO NOT want people to just make the page for me,I wanted to make it right and I needed help but decide to just do it on my own after all.

Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here....That's not how it works.
You can't just yell at other people to make a work's page for you.
Ok I didnt yell (Or didnt intend to.) I asked for help and advice but I already knew I had to do it on my own. I will just do it on my own then.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Just finished up to Hoffman Ruins, here are my thoughts.
- They really tweaked a lot of stuff now. Like Claude now learns Cross Slash a.k.a. Twin Slash earlier, for instance. Also Ashton got a lot of nerfs since his specials now appear slower and has some lag at the end. Oh and Ernest is finally useful.
- Spells are generally better compared to before, being treated more like modern SO. And thus even enemy spells are also dangerous. Those silly witches in the Symbology Forest casting Starlight can now kill your party because of the spell itself being like some delayed laser explosion.
- You now start with all skills. That means the skill NPC that teaches them got removed from existence. Also lots of QOL like you can choose to upgrade by IC instead so it upgrades relevant skills.
- Speaking of QOL, you don't need to wear Mud Boots anymore! Same with Combo Link. Everyone except spellcasters now has the second special move.
- All available Private Actions are now indicated in the map, and you can activate them whenever. The game even informs you if they're "time-limited". Additionally they added a bunch of new ones (which are unvoiced).

I thought Enemy spells were ALWAYS dangerous. In the original, your HP cant go past 9999 and thus many enemies can instantly kill you with a spell but you cant hit more than once so spells are useless past a certain point.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Enemy spells only feel dangerous near the end game in the original game. Early on at most they're a nuisance. Here they cast fast and are real time and the game compensates by making them deal more damage than usual and hit multiple times. Those random Eruptions wiped my team when back then they were easily ignorable.

Oh ok. I hope they are also useful for the player party as well. Also I dont see Unlimited Gabriel or Iseria Queen in any Videos for the game and I am afraid they removed them. And that the game is too easy. I love all the Disc-One Nuke s SO 2 has but I would LOATHE it if they removed all the genuinely had parts from the game.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here. They're still there. They also added new bosses and stuff.
Dunno about changing difficulty but now Energy Sword is an AOE heal lmao
Claudy C Kenny best healer.

And I'm okay with that sort of thing usually, but this particular opening is very obviously not that. Like, it's fully animated by a proper anime studio, which Square Enix did a thing boasting about, but it feels like the priorities are way off.
Not Three Laws compliant.
