In summary:
- Spoilers for non-episodic works should remain tagged for a minimum of one month after the work's release.
- Spoilers for episodic works (including any DLC) should remain tagged for one month or until the next instalment releases, whichever is shorter.
There hasn't been much good news in months for people who want more Legend Of Heroes VI in English. Xseed has apparently been translating the second installment for PSP, but no release date yet, and they apparently have not had much sales success. Meanwhile, there have been no official statements about releasing the Windows versions in English.
But thanks to this Andriasang article, I learned that Aeria Games (best known for MMORPGs) plans to release the Trails in the Sky trilogy internationally on smartphones. Some online and social functions will be added to the basic gameplay. No clear indication of what international smartphone platforms just yet.

I beat the boss at 43 last time I played... googling says the recommendation is between level 37 and level 40.

Okay, this is the current state of the fight, I think I COULD pull off a win actually but I'm confused if I'm supposed to kill all drones so he won't spam them anymore, or just focus on killing the main boss.
Because those drones keep destroying my shields that I need to bypass the arts cancelling attack.

Fuck, I got it down to a quarter of it's health and then it just spams this annihilation move WHICH CAN KILL MY ENTIRE PARTY IN ONE HIT EVEN AT FULL HEALTH.

Okay, so I clicked retry fight, and uhhh while it still has one hit kill moves, it is spamming a significantly less amount of adds, and using less of it's stronger moves.
I didn't accidentally make the fight easier? It just said retry fight.

That depends, do you have the Retry Offset
turned on in the options? If so then yes, if not then no.

SO CLOSE! If only Kloe had 100 CP, I could have healed my party before that one party wipe attack. It was down to 1376 health.
To add insult to injury, it just kept spamming reinforcements to kill Kloe.
Ah well. I did check, and no, there's no Reset offset, so I was winning on my own merits.
Okay, I'll continue next time, I'm beat. This legit is a pretty tough fight, I'd say it's the hardest final boss fight yet but that just might be me not knowing what the fuck I'm supposed to do.

Much like early Pokémon, Sky's difficulty relative to later installments is contributed to by limited options the game gives you compared to later entries, so that's not surprising.

Yeah I have to say, this final boss didn't leave a good first impression on how the rest of the games were going to actually be difficulty wise.
As in, I can't recall a single final boss that gave me trouble besides this one.
I uhh do not remember having trouble with the fight but I was not under leveled.
The boss gets easier as it goes along. I ignored most of the adds unless they were near the boss, as they can heal the boss, but stayed together as a group. Kloe and Oliver kinda just nuke the boss rather easily as well as should be able to keep everyone up.
Cast 2, EP Cut 3, Action 2 or 3 and Defense 3 quartz help massively.
IMO, the biggest thing is just to let Joshua S-Craft the minions away. With those being able to be removed in a turn, it frees up a lot of space for the rest of my party to get Earth Walls and Blue Impacts up.
Giving Kloe some agility buffs doesn't hurt either, if an attack doesn't hit, that Earth Wall is still standing.

Yeah, my strat was to just stay together, set up earth wall, then have Oliver spam White Gehanna, while Kloe spams blue impact.
Estelle is on CP duties while Joshua spams Earth Wall because I forgot to get his best weapon and he hits like a wet noodle.

Alright, I backed tracked to the rest of the party so I could buy more supplies, and quartz.
Now Oliver and Kloe have White Gehanna and Estelle and Joshua earth wall.
Clock EX buffs as well.

Did you explore the place for everyone’s penultimate weapon?, those would probably help a lot. As well as get some levels.
