[up][up][up]I cannot hear what they're saying at 13:00 but i wanna. :( This is too adorable for words though and that woman playing Anna just nails it. She's a natural fit.

@Valentine's Day Video: Merida there had a lovely, if fake, accent. Also she reminded me of Lorde.

With the way those cosplayers acted, you think they would get better gigs.

They switch out the parts from time to time. Snow White in this video used to be Rapunzel. Besides, what's a better gig than getting to be one of the princesses?

I cannot hear what they're saying at 13:00 but i wanna. :(

Something like: "Yeah, but remember, Kristoff doesn't wanna (inaudible) Valentine's Day, so my sister is my Valentine." She might be referring to Merida's "Girls Only Except for 'the boys'" party, since she said Kristoff couldn't come. Maybe Disney World doesn't have a Kristoff actor so that's how they're explaining his absence.

And yes, Merida's actress here nailed the part.

Oh that must be Heaven for an actress trying to sharpen their skills! Acting as someone at the Disney parks.

So, this is interesting. Someone slowed and pitched down 'Let It Go', ostensibly as a 'bad ending' variant. It's not bad (though the fast sections suffer a little), but it's a good thing they removed the vocals, since those still end up resolving into major chords and sounding a bit too upbeat. Still, for a different movie where Anna had been killed, it does have a good amount of tragic feeling to it.

It's been fun.

[up][up]I want someone to actually sing a cover of that at that tempo.

The light shines off the lake of ice, not a soul alive to see/ There's no one here but murderers and I guess that must mean me. She stands there frozen, like an image carved of ice. What did I do to earn that kind of sacrifice?

"Please let me in. Please let me see. Please come out, build a snowman with me. Feel don't conceal. I want to know." But now you know.

Let it Go. Let it Go. Can't hide this sorrow inside. Let it Go. Let it Go. I won't run and I won't hide. Just take me now. Lock me away. Keep me contained. The cold never bothered me anyway.

It's funny how perspective. Can make everything worse. Tried to make myself a blessing. I've always been a curse.

I can't go back. I can't undo. Anna, I just don't know what to do. No way to right this wrong for you. But still it's true.

Let it Go. Let it Go. There's just no way to deny. Let it Go. Let it Go. All I can do is cry. Here I stand. And here I stay. Just stay away... The cold doesn't bother me anyway.

The issue is I can't see it working past the bridge unless it actually does use the movie's ending. The music is just too unambiguously triumphant.

My power rages growing out of my control.

My heart is melting Elsa, please don't hide what's in your soul.

I'll never fix her now, ice coats her like a glove.

You know a heart is thawed, by an act of true love.

Let it Go. Let it Go. But how could icy heart thaw? Let it Go. Let it Go. I love you, every flaw. 'Here we stand. And here we stay.' But I can't be changed. I won't let the cold keep me away

I'm wondering if this Admiral Westergaard person Evil Elsa refers to was the original version of Hans. He WAS referred to as a naval officer in an activity book, so it's likely.

Hans Westergaard has a nice ring to it I guess.

I kind of like the idea of Evil Elsa, but Idina isn't as 'into' her performance. It still sounds more like her own voice and less like Elsa. Still cool though.

Honestly Evil!Elsa just sounds too much like a supervillian. Like "my life takes one tragic turn and I'm suddenly a sadist that wants to conquer the world." I'm still confused at why she bothers to take over the kingdom with an army when it would be just as easy to go back try to claim her throne and anyone that objects, freeze them.

I assume they would have built it up more if they made that version.

Again, it's kind of amazing how that bit of music sounds like 'desperate fight for life' in the movie, but sounds like 'Oh crap, Arendelle is doomed' in this scene.

The other deleted scene though portrays Elsa as having a better relationship with her sister than in the final draft. How is that consistent with "let's just prevent the guards from taking Anna to safety."

More Disneyland Anna and Elsa. Anna's played by a different actress, but she's still awesome.

So if Rapunzel admits to having short hair during her trip to Arendelle, what does that mean about her golden locks here? Does she wear a wig now? Is she able to magically change her hairstyle? Did it all grow back really fast?

@Rhyme: Fair enough. The deleted songs probably would have allowed for more angst, but what can you do.

It's also likely that the deleted scenes come from different drafts of the movie. They could've started with the supervillain!Elsa seen in her deleted scene, decided to go the more sisterly route and gotten the wardrobe scene, before moving on to what finally appeared in the movie.

My take on the deleted scene is that Westergaard is planning on capturing Elsa, not the other way around. Her new army is for defensive purposes. Anna must step in at the last minute and prevent the battle.

Evil Elsa says something like: 'If he loves her so much..." at one point in reference to the Admiral, so that's more evidence for him being proto-Hans.

Also, these are less 'deleted scenes' and more 'deleted movie'. tongue

The overall feel of that video makes me think The Lion King meets Frozen.

I was actually thinking the other day that regardless of whether it actually matched up with the Lion King from a storytelling perspective, it seems pretty clear by now that Frozen does seems to be matching up with the Lion King from how bit a hit it is. And I have to imagine that it's probably doing at least as well from internet discussion and the like as Lion King likely would have done if the likes of Facebook and Tumblr and Youtube and other major internet sites had existed back in the day.

Honestly, Evil!Elsa came off more as a 2nd rate Maleficent to me.

None of the fun like several post Little Mermaid villains.

After listening to the songs too many times, I've noticed that the rhymes "door" and "anymore" are used in some of them.

BTW, looking at the longer version of the dressing room scene (Well, a GIF set of it. We're not encouraged to use You Tube at my office), the relationship between Anna and Elsa is definitely far more strained than the preview of the scene might have us believe.
