I just discovered Indie Gala (indiegala.com).

They work very similarly to Humble Bundle: pay what you want, distribute it as you like between devs, tip, and charity (they have Save the Children Italia (Indie Gala is a Rome-based organization) and Child's Play). Except the games are given as Steam serial keys; only one of the games is a DRM-free direct download. Also, they offer music. Also, you kinda have to beat the average since you get charged a Paypal processing fee if you don't. Also, the average is really low. Right now it's $1.74.

The Indie Gala offerings are:

and several albums of music

I don't really know anything about these games except for Saira, since I've played Nifflas's Knytt Stories games (including community-made levels). Nifflas is also known for Knytt and Within A Deep Forest.

Current Humble Indie Bundle:

Humble Android Bundle

All games DRM-free and work on Android, Windows, Linux, and Mac. Steam keys provided as long as you pay more than $1. Current average: $6.04

Upcoming Indie Gala bundle (will begin at 3 AM EST, 8 AM GMT...in about four hours):

http://www.indiegala.com/

According to http://www.steamgifts.com/forum/FMS6Y/indie-gala-2-coming-this-saturday-800-gmt , Indie Gala 2 will contain these games and music:

If you beat the level 2 average, you get all the games in the first Indie Gala bundle except Saira and Vizati, and you also get the album "Doodads" by Robot Science. These games are: inMomentum, Zombie Shooter, Zombie Shooter 2, Hacker Evolution: Duality, Hacker Evolution: Untold, and Your Doodles Are Bugged.

I don't know what "average" means for these things, but apparently the "level 1 average" starts at $3.99 and the "level 2 average" starts at $6.99.

All games are redeemable on Steam. All music will be available in 320 kbps and FLAC formats.

Instead of limiting availability by timing, this bundle will be limited by quantity: there will only be 50,000 copies of this bundle available.

This Critical Mass is too underground for a wiki page. [lol]

All in all I have little interest in these games. Fortix looks meh, I have heard bad things about bunch of heroes, I am not into match 3 puzzlers for Critical mass, Greed corp is a strategy game, and I don't know enough about roboblitz.

Steam's currently holding a sale on various Warhammer 40 K titles this weekend. Includes all the titles from both Dawn of War series and Space Marine.

Also, don't know if this counts, but if you decide to pre-order the new Jagged Alliance: Back in Action title you get 10% off the cover price, two hats and a badge for your TF 2 characters, and some special gear for your crew in-game: A SCAR-L rifle, Kevlar Helmet and Military Dress uniform with urban camouflage.

"level 1 average" for the current Indie Gala bundle is now $5.32 and the "level 2 average" is $9.32. The first one is probably the actual average. They're not even called such on the Indie Gala page; they just have three price ranges (that change over time). If you pay the minimum price range ($1 to whatever) you get the smallest bundle, then there's a second price range for a larger bundle (the basic Indie Gala 2 bundle), and then if you pay even more than that, you get a bundle with all that plus some Gala 1 offerings.

Indie Gala also does giftable UR Ls now, by the way.

It doesn't say on the page, but I believe that the games can only be redeemed on Steam. I haven't heard anything about them releasing DRM-free versions, unfortunately.

level 1 average is now 5.35, 2 is now 9.35. I don't feel like paying this much for them.

And THEY NEED A BETTER DISPLAY METHOD THAN THOSE ROTATING SHELVES. And they need to clarify that their stuff is only redeemable on Steam (which I believe is the case).

Indie Gala has added the original Hacker Evolution game to all their bundle tiers, and added the album "Selection for Gala" by Ulrich Schnauss to their second- and third-tier bundles.

Indie Royale is currently serving the Alpha Collection #1: There are three games whose alpha versions are currently available. If you buy them, you are promised updates from the developers, as well as Desura keys (and Steam keys if they become available eventually), as you support the developers financially. The three games are Towns, {{3079}}, and Wyv And Keep.

Indie Gala's first-stage and second-stage "average" prices to beat have gone down, for what it's worth. They are now $4.87 and $8.53 (you have to beat each of these to get the mid-size and large-size bundles, respectively). The first-stage "average" was over $5 last time I checked.

Would you like to play Faerie Solitaire?

Have a Steam account? Enter this giveaway at SteamGifts!

http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/0XItL/faerie-solitaire

The developers of that game have been giving away keys for free left and right in anticipation of the release of Faerie Solitaire 2. Here comes twenty five thousand more keys.

You can join the steamgifts site if you have a Steam account. You start with some basic number of points, which you can spend to enter giveaways, which are offered by other Steam users and raffled out by the site. As other people post giveaways you get more points. There are a few rules, though, most importantly that you should only enter for stuff you want because you'll be required to activate it.

This particular giveaway will be active for another six days or so.

I think that's the first time that's happened.

Also, I'm not sure why, but Future Wars is not listed as "indie" on Steam. This might be because it's published by Meridian4—though then again, Bastion was published by WB Games but is still listed as indie.

That said, I'm not surprised if bundles are starting to include non-indie games. I remember reading that the next Groupees BeMine Bundle might be including Killing Floor.

Well Magicka can probably be considered indie, and Mount and Blade too...but both are published by Paradox...

I DO think that Still Life is not indie though...

Is there a predictable schedule for XBL sales like with Steam sales? I hate buying DLC on it...Between the points system, the higher prices (here, at least) and the infrequent sales...

I think the overlap of Greed: Black Border is because the Indie Gala 2 wasn't supossed to last so long and they probably had already prepared the third one so they had to go with the overlap of one game. Also pretty much all the games from Indie Gala are plubished by Meridian4 and developed by Headup Games.
