Animated feature-length film examples go in Film — Animated. That's the official ruling.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"What's the official ruling on Western Animation/Anime vs Films on namespaces?
Also, do anime films also go on Film — Animated, or just the regular Anime and Manga folder?
So far, Anime films stay in Anime, as far as I know, both for media categories and Namespaces. But that line has always been tricky to draw.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Not all tropes have the distinction between live action movies and animated movies... nor should they, IMO. Movies incorporating aspects both of animation and of live action kind of blur the line.

In this thread a couple users were saying that an image from an animated movie should go on a western animation subpage, not a film subpage, of a given trope.
This strikes me as odd because I could have sworn I saw it officially confirmed before that examples from animated movies go in film. Is it different for page images than for examples? If so, where do examples from animated movies go, and where do page images from animated movies go?
