Matthew at first thought when the demon-chimera vanished, that the fight might have ended, that maybe Rhyme took care of it. He doubted it.

However, he got a deathly sinking feeling in his gut that told him the fight was not yet done. That was when he felt a strange pressure in the air, as if a lot of Mana was being used for something.

He looked up, eyes widening with horror as he realised the demon had somehow made it into the higher up atmosphere and now rained around fifty missiles down at the group, all spontaneously generated out of blood red spell circles.

He immediately summoned a much larger sword, namely, a great sword which had an old legend attached to it of being born of the fae. Mefurion's grey blade hoisted over him, he slashed once with the overwhelmingly huge blade and created a bright blue wave of force that collided with the vast majority of the missiles, but some of them seemed to splinter off and targeted Rhyme and Fero.

"Well...this just keeps getting better."

Fero casually tore off his own arm before it could deform any further, letting the spraying blood form partial shields around Rhyme Yuki and Matthew to give them some additional cover. Pushing the already intense pain to the back of his mind and launching himself high over the missiles and into the air as rapidly as his massive blood loss and fading concentration allowed.

Once airborne, he began muttering to himself before tossing his arm straight at the demon-chimera. The stump of the limb blasted towards the creature like a rocket, soon transforming itself into a truly massive fireball and powered up even further via the effects of using his own flesh and blood as a catalyst for the spell.

After accomplishing that much, the Judgement Lieutenant fell limply back to the ground, only barely staying conscious.

"Think I...might've overdone things...again..."

Stupid move too...all three of them are just as capable of protecting themselves...and defeating this thing as I am, probably better...Still, no sitting here...while they're threatened...and letting others play the hero in my jurisdiction...

Tsukime sighed relieved. "Yes, it will... You just don know how hard was the entrance. Specially when I ended u-" She gut cut short when another voice, a bit deeper, took control of her mouth. It was Tsuhiro. "I wanna have a cute, lolita dress!"

Tsukime clasped her hands over her mouth after that, then released them when she felt the control back on her. "He he... I was just... kidding you kn-"

The 'unborn' interrupts again. "Make it fancy!" She hold her mouth again.

Tsuhiro! Stop embarrassing me! replied Tsukime in her mind, while Tsuhiro took over her arms, letting her mouth go. "I want it frilly and pink and cute! SQUEEEEEEE!!". Now Tsukime punched herself in order to stop 'him', rattling a bit the infirmary's equipment.

She breaths hard and tired, specially because her body's still too lacking of blood for the rhythm of those punches. "I... I... GASP... I give up... Please, make it as fancy as possible." I'm so gonna rip your guts out once I make it to the afterlife, you unborn bastard... added mentally the "Chaos Queen", praying that her fame doesn't make the doctor think on something else...

Yes, she can be subdued by the 1/3 of her body she can't control. DO YOU HAVE ANY TROUBLE WITH THAT?!

...Erm, what.

The prolonged silence from the boy made him worry a bit too much. Maybe he was reconsidering something. Maybe he changed his mind about sparing his life. Ma-

Lyle just stared at her. He had seen some weird ones, heck, he sometimes had to treat Akira Kuronuma for those rare cases when Absolute Negation could not heal him...er, make his injuries nothing.

This girl was possibly even more bizarre than the Vice President.

Ignius sighed, "Sorry about that. I was just checking on something else with my mind." Given he was more used to verbal speech, maybe this would make him feel a little more at ease.

A bit of confusion about his voice. Such could be expected.

"So, John, as I was saying earlier, the world at large is in danger, namely, from the individual named Yuki, as well as the forces of the demon Ein Woe and a certain other. This certain other is an old enemy of mine. One bent on nothing short of world ruination."

Tsukime looked at him, having seen that look before. Too many times, actually. Great, he thinks I'm crazy too... well done, you unborn bastard... thought her, getting a slight migraine of all this. "So... when's that uniform coming?"

Tsuhiro took over her face again, getting a beaming smile and dreamy eyes. "Will it be a cute lolita dress?" Tsukime forces herself shut after this.

By now, Lyle recognized what was going on, and he said in a somewhat serious voice, "It will be coming in a minute. If you would like, I could solve your problem, that individual inside you. All I'd need to do is cut out all of his tissues from you. With the right anaesthetics, it would be easy and painless."

"Wow... How did you...?" Tsukime shrug it off and thought a bit about his offer. She despised her unborn jerk with passion and now had a chance to get even. She was glad of the solution, until the "all his tissues" parts sunk in. "It's nice, but as far as I know, the most of his tissues are part of most of my vitals. His liver, his pancreas, several muscles... Hell, even nerves from him are on me! Besides... I'm pretty much lonely when he's not talking into me..." Then she thought deeper about her life with him. "Yes, he's a jerk. And yes, we don't agree on everything. But he wants to remain alive as well as I do and... He's my brother, you know? We were supposed to care for each other... I hate him, but not more than you would hate a brother. I..." Her face darkened in sadness. "I just can't get rid of him so easily... I'm sorry, but I have to turn down your offer."

Tsuhiro took over for a bit. "And I don't want to leave her unprotected. She's pretty much a weakling without my spares. C'mon, she has two harts, twice the blod and several time her normal strength! I can't just get a way and see how all the madness we had gathered on our joint life get the best of her. Yeah, I'm the worse bro, but I'm her bro, she's my sis, and we're the Chaos Queen! I can't allow her to renounce to that!" Tsuhiro grew more serious after this rant. "Besides, she still needs to focus into what's important, like keeping her mind in place. She's too distracted, needs discipline and that doesn't include her daydreaming into a wedding with yo-" Tsukime recovered control and cut him short by self gagging, blushing furiously and mentally adding Don't say that out loud, dammit!. Tsuhiro replies Well, excuse me, love-sick sis of mine...

The fireball, meanwhile, collided with the Chimera-Dragon and there was a large explosion.

Matthew panted fiercely, this thing was rapidly getting out of hand, firing a massive barrage down on a populated area. That was when he saw Fero had used his own arm as a catalyst for the giant fireball.

He ran over, anger welling up inside of him. Why did Fero think it was alright to make a move like that when he had no way to regenerate his injuries on his own? "Fero, that was a really damn stupid move, but..." That was when the smoke cleared and Matthew had to cancel the celebrations as it was revealed that the creature had shifted its form again in order to survive. Sacrificing its bulk and sheer size, it had compacted itself down from almost ten stories tall to around the size of two men standing on one another's shoulders. It had its former appearance, but now it seemed smaller, and if Matthew had to hazard a guess...

It suddenly appeared right behind Rhyme, its sword raised and Matthew had to augment speed to almost the max, moving in and shoving Rhyme out of the way, and then parrying the creature's sword, the sheer force resulting shattering the ground around the two.

Yuki's earlier charge had left her flung off into a nearby building - the tentacles hadn't grasped her so much as whacked her and knocked her attack off course. She finally righted herself and flung herself into battle again, only to find a new baddie had taken the last one's place. Snarling, she extended an arm and fired off a machine gun-like burst of searing shamanist magical energy at him. Hopefully enough to get the demon to pay attention to her.

"You want me, come get me! I'm through getting tossed around like this," she called out, hovering in mid-air and radiating her pink aura of energy, "I'm not some doll you can own, jerk! Except.. er.. maybe by Rhyme. But that's different!"

The creature dodged out of the way, and Matthew managed to get out of the way of Yuki's attack as well.

It then flew right at Yuki herself, and appeared in front of her, its sword flying downward at her in a vicious arc.

"We can always reanimate the catalyst, I personally want to rip you apart."

Rhyme smirked as she heard Yuki above her, teleporting a few feet back from her. Some part of her noted that her energy reserves were dwindling, but—

Even as she saw the sword swing down, Rhyme appeared next to Yuki, grabbed her arm, and teleported away—"away" being the other side of the roof.

"Fancy meeting you here," she quipped as she released the magical girl's arm. Her eyes glowed blue as she glared at the monster.

"Don't try that again," the psychic growled.

Jae'yon scanned the area for Rhyme and Yuki, and then Matthew rushed in again and swung a new Majitek sword at the creature, to which it responded by clashing in midair, the resulting clash of force shattering the nearby windows.

Matthew had to admit, this thing had some persistence, continuing to attack even after being forced through three forms now.

The shield swung at his head, suddenly spinning and acting as a buzz saw. He created another sword and blocked that attack, keeping it away from his head. One bit of head trauma would badly affect his odds here. A head wound bled a lot, and thus the blood would likely get into his eyes.

Imperfect vision against something this deadly fast would be a costly handicap.

Just as he was thinking he was getting close to gaining ground on the thing, it vanished from in front of him and then a giant red blast flew down at where Rhyme and Yuki were.

The shrinking violet, who looked at me like i was a killer? John thought to himself.

He decided to listen. Besides, if his curiosity didn't get to him, whatever that boy can do to him will

What do you mean?

Yuki is a dangerous element in the world, and I have ultimately seen the result of her destiny, thanks to a Gazer, a type of seer. She is a Chosen One of Andras the Devourer, a creature who exists to cause the end of the world as we know it. While she may not know it, her very existence in a given place brings chaos and the destructive form of "evolution" preferred by Andras. It is no small wonder Ein Woe wishes to use her as well to summon Anduriel.

Ignius showed no signs of a lie, and in fact he seemed very serious about this.

Tsukime looked at Lyle, to see what was he gonna do now...

John couldn't see any signs of lying. He tried to be careful, but the boy looked extremely honest, and he seriously considered taking it seriously. But he still tried to be wary, even though he couldn't see anything to be worried about, anymore.

Why can't we help her?

Lyle sighed, "Hmm, very well...I can respect such a decision."

However, he did have a solution just in case there were any more...episodes...of her brother trying any of that creepy lolita business.

Yuki has a tie to Andras that began before she was even conceived. By now, the tie is so thorough that one cannot liberate Yuki from Andras any more than they could kill the color blue. This Inversion Ceremony Ein wishes to use to summon Anduriel will result in a one year's time limit before Andras rips free from the Earth's crust and that is the end for Earth.

Ignius then proceeded to materialize something into his hand. It looked like an odd, wooden container.

"Okay, then. I really appreciate it." Tsuhiro took over and their face became more serious.

"Now, seriously, can we pick up something not overly feminine? Something more akin to a tomboy, just to blend the genders? I don't want to have 'Miss Universe' here trying to become a diva as she always wan-" A self gag from Tsukime cut down the embarrassing rant.

The woman finally arrived with the uniforms. She had picked out both a standard Japanese School Girl uniform and a more boyish outfit.

Lyle had to wonder just how this girl ended up here. While Tsuhiro was certainly unusual, she had abysmal mana reserves, many weaknesses, and no supernatural powers beyond raised stamina.

Tsukime took, after some internal argue, the more masculine outfit. Specially because she knows he can be a pain in the back in form of making her fail. Tsuhiro takes over, again, and looks at Lyle.

"It seems you know it all about us, but seem unaware of what we exactly are, right?" They go behind a screen and begin to dress in the uniform while Tsuhiro keeps explaining. "Did you hear the news about the 'Chaos Queen' and her 'amazing feats'? Well, it seems people all over our town actually believe we're a sort of supernatural force or something like that. We're fairly strong and, if my sister allows me to say it, we're pretty much uncoordinated. People thinks we're a lot of things, from a demon to, maybe, the gate to darkness. But we're just a normal girl and I'm simply the voice at the back of our head, like the sane one or-"

Tsukime takes over for a minute. "Wait a second!" Tsukime gulps a bit after taking account of the facts. "Ts-Ts-Tsuhiro had been taking over with me being conscious the whole time! D-D-Does... that... mean?..."

Tsuhiro took over again and realized it. "OMG!! Maybe... I'm getting back to life? B-B-But..." He then realizes another thing. "Wait, I'm not supposed to be just a biological shadow of... me? Holy... The healing! The pair of hearts! What if the healing spell is slowly bringing my soul from oblivion an-?"

Tsukime stopped it before it gets too weird. "Oh, come on! Are you serious? We're getting together? What do you mean with that? That the healing is reversing the slow absorption of your cells by my body and your cells are growing like mine, getting you stronger each time? That you are not a parasite anymore but... a real... part... of...?"

"US?" That last part sounded like two voices tangling up. Over their body, a ghostly red silhouette begins to form, tangling itself on the chimeric child, while a cyan ghostly thread replies by ensnaring the ghostly form. "WE ARE CONFUSED..."

Rhyme sighed. Instead of teleporting like she had been doing for the past fifteen minutes, she just grabbed Yuki and jumped back.

"Sorry for the rough treatment," she muttered quietly, even as she ripped a chunk of conrete out of the ground and sent it flying in an arc towards the demon. Her whole body was surrounded in a blue glow that amplified her natural reflexes. It was a steady drain but better than the sudden one that teleporting was.

Lyle nodded, "I can see why. Your souls are...trying...to incorporate back together, but it appears the two of you have mental issues unique to each one of you that has resulted in some additional fracturing."

If he had to say one thing, it was that he never should have left Sharon's forces. Yes, she was a manipulative witch, but that was better than dealing with kids with enough neuroses to give Crazy Bob a run for his money...

The concrete struck the creature, but it kept flying above, apparently its newer form now preferring to attack from higher altitudes. Matthew ran along to try to get a lock on it via amplifying his sight with Mana, but it kept on moving.

It took aim at Rhyme again and fired a bright red blast down at her and Yuki again.

Going to wait for Bombadillo before posting again.

"I...see" John was about to respond, but his attention was caught by the wooden crate.

-beat- Huh?
