Hayate rolled her eyes; the very fact she was in uniform should have made it at least a bit clear she wasn't a civilian. She pulled her ID out again.
"Lieutenant-Colonel Hayate Yagami, TSAB. I want to know why you're attacking my people and any civilians who happen to be in the way."

The SDU officer went to use the microphone on his vest to get in touch with Captain Lee of UNIT, putting through an immediate emergency transmission.

Yukari shook her head at the pervert ninja, "I concure, because we honestly don't know our way around this city."
"Oh so you're new here too, Ane?" The Ermine asked from his spot on Rin's shoulder.

"Tch, if you don't know how you summoned me, then what makes you think that I know?" Archer sighed, it was obvious he had ended up with a faulty master who didn't even know the basics. He glanced at Ness and Terra. Nope, he couldn't explain anything to her now. Not within earshot of two outsiders, "Now's not a good time to go into details, for now just call me Archer."
Terra
Hearing Archer's name., Terra gave a response to the man in red. "Mr. Archer, I don't know what's going on, but thank you for helping us."
So, Homura, was it? Terra asked her, "So, Homura, who was it that we were fighting? It seemed like you knew her." Terra was also curious about the abilities of her allies. What power did Archer invoke to change the vicinity? And how did Homura acquire those weapons and skip around like that?
Perhaps they didn't want to share too much about themselves. Terra understood; she wasn't really inclined to talk much about herself either. Ness might have something to say, though. He was just out of energy. He should rest...

The soldier looked at the ID card. He frowned, "Attacking you're people huh? Well, I told my soldiers to take out anything that would be a threat. If your people were threatening then of course they were fired upon. You should tell them not to be so threatening,"
He was clearly nervous now, but his voice was kept straight (well, angry) and he wasn't sweating yet, but his expression was weakening a bit.
"Ok, Archer," Homura said, and ignored Terra. Homura didn't exactly worry about being rude, she preffered to keep Witches and Puella Magi a secret. At this point, Homura just wanted to go rest, and then go find Madoka. She'd probably spend the rest of her Puella Magi existence protecting Madoka.
But first, this man was summoned by her, so she had to figure out the implications of that, "Fine. We can go somewhere more private, where we can figure out why you're here," she frowned at the three others around her, then at the destruction. "Soldiers will be here soon, if you don't want to be found, I suggest you find somewhere to be," and with that she started off, expecting Archer to follow.

"Now that is interesting. From what I heard, your soldiers opened fire on a woman and a child, and by extension every other person on the platform, without provocation or probable cause. Do you honestly expect me to believe what you're telling me?"

"A child, eh?" He was now sweating, and wiped his brow with a cloth he pulled form his pocket, "Yeah, I heard you employ children as soldiers in your army," The emphasis on the last word was clear distaste.
"Hmph, so you come here to find out who's behind the order, and you got directed to me..." He made a gesture.
The soldier who had led Hayate in raised his gun and fired at Hayate.
Boss fight time! Lets see Hayate take him out, should be fun~

As soon as Hayate saw the soldier level his weapon, she swung her right hand up
"Protection!" she called, summoning a silver-white triangle covered in runes between her and the incoming bullets. At the same time, her duty unifom seemed to vanish in a flash of white light, being replaced with the black, white and gold form of her Barrier Jacket.
She sighed. "I suppose I should have seen this coming; you goad me into an overtly hostile action, and that nets you a blank cheque to do whatever you want."

Don shouted at the UNIT driver to speed the 2-vehicle VAMTAC convoy up and take them to the JGSDF command post near Fuyuki Bridge after getting reports from UNIT Intelligence that shots were fired from there.
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"

Her companions didn't seem to want to discuss the present situation any further. Fair enough... Terra wasn't comfortable feeling like she was left out, but it couldn't be helped. Homura and Archer probably knew more about what's going on than she did.
And then Homura reminded the group about the military present in the city. "Oh right, the soldiers!" Terra exclaimed. She remembered that their presence influenced her actions in this city. This entire time, she had been concerned about the military lockdown; she was just distracted by the invading witch.
With that warning, Homura left the area. Terra wanted to help find Ness some care to help him recover. But she also wanted to seek some answers... Terra might be able to follow Homura if she flew on a boulder. So she asked her ally, "Ness, where should we go? If you need to rest, we can find a place to do so."
Index, Mahoro
Index continued to walk in prudence, expecting to find the source of the pink laser of magical energy. The two vampires that went ahead first were likely going in the same direction.
At the same time, Mahoro was wondering in the near vicinity. While Mahoro was able to use her gadgets to get to the destination more quickly, she didn't want to do something that might get others' attention. She decided to keep a low profile in her usual maid form instead.
Mahoro had the big picture in mind: what was going on in the city? Who are the invaders? What is the identification of the military force at hand? And what necessitated that laser attack? Perhaps it was best for her to scout out that laser and observe the situation from there.
I don't know if anyone is out there, but I could really use some help right now...

The soldier showed her to the back. There was a man on the phone, he was clearly extremely upset, "-want those fucking monsters taken care of! There's a few of them taking out our soldiers, all around the place we're losing men! Get this taken care of or-" He noticed Hayate and the other soldier at that point.
"Just get the job done, now!" he said and hung up, "What do you want? Who are you? All civilians should be out of the city by now,"

Yuho raised her fist backwards and got Jun right in the face, "Shush you," causing her to stop in place.
She then proceeded to follow Rin, "I hope you know where we're going," she said, a bit more to herself.
