I wouldn't say he's inconsistantly written. Some days, people just get good ideas. Other days, they don't.

Man, I liked this show. So many cool powers (Wudai Orion Formation was awesome) and items.

One thing that I thought was kinda odd was how some of the Shen Gong Wu never got used after their introduction. Like the Helmet of Jong. Did that ever get used except as part of that evil golem?

And the Jet Butsu. There was so much that could be done with "Defying gravity", as demonstrated when it first showed up (walking straight up a cliff, with no regard for how the ground shifted), but it eventually just got used as jet boots. Shrug.

But man, I wish there were more episodes.

Strangely, the creators of the show kinda forgot the original purpose of the Shen Gong Wu after a while. Originally, they were supposed to have been used by Dashi to defeat Wuya. Yet, when we go back in time we see Dashi kicking Wuya's ass quite casually without ANY Wu whatsoever

Retcons a lot of stuff or forget what he wrote originally and writes something that contradicts what was established in the past.

He on record mentioned that he sometimes forgets thing.

You know, after they got them back during the Mala Mala Jong thing, why didn't they use them much again? They could've, say had Dojo use them whenever he sensed a new Wu, and then teleport in its location.

Because he doesn't know where they are he just follows is senses.

Generally, he didn't KNOW where the wu was, he was just tracking the signal as he went. His idea of The location wouldn't have been precise enough to use the claws

Why exactly they can't use the Crystal Glasses to find all the wu still baffles me though

Because there would be no plot and the writers of course couldn't let the characters be that intelligent.

True... but he could at least do a jump in its direction to cut down on some of the travel time.

...Do you know what would be an awesome cobo? Two Ton Tunic + Jet Butsu. You can defy gravity, so just reduce your personal weight by, oh, let's say... 4000 pounds.

Raimundo,though after watching another show I have a hard time seeing any Wind rep as anything other than goofy and flighty.

But Rai would in that universe be like Sokka or Toph.

Well couldn't they have used it to instant teleport to the Shen Gung Wu once it was sight?

But the Wu's distance is also unknown they could go farther than it actually was.

I wonder what that said...
