This might be great for games like call of duty which can be played in a few hours but sucks for everything else.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youI was watching this pacifist run, and it's quite revealing just how much the game cheats for you from the very start. For one, your allies are terrible shots and will take ages to kill a few cops. For another, some enemies are literally immortal to your allies so that you are the one that must kill them.
Also, you get some really weird bugs with characters dying/suddenly reviving when a mission takes too long.
The next one is even funnier, and has even more weird things. Like a bunch of enemies suddenly spawning just because you climbed over something.
It's kinda weird to realize that sometimes enemies are just immune to any damage that doesn't come from you, like rockets or fire.

Optimism is a duty.A new DLC, the Cayo Perico Heist.
It's not just a new heist with some new vehicles, but adds an entire new island to the game.
Perhaps this is the future of GTA Online? Adding more and more land masses to the map?
Optimism is a duty.GTA 5 Has Sold More Than 140 Million Copies.
Amazing and disgusting at the same time, really.
Optimism is a duty. It's a fun game. Amazing open world, very immersive npc behavior. Possibly the most diverse fleet of vehicles in any game ever. It's not surprising.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youOh, absolutely. But the single player portion hasn't had any love in years, and I'd like a new game at some point. They've already skipped an entire console generation.
Optimism is a duty...holy shit
you're absolutely right.
GTAV will exist on three different generations of the same consoles.
Oh my GAWD
Well, Red Dead 2 is out of the way. Surely. SURELY.
IDK, though I never found a single player GTA game I connected with very much. First thing I did when i got GTAV was switch to online mode and grind for money until i could afford a hangar, which i then filled with attack aircraft.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youBetter late than never. Hope Rockstar implements this.
Optimism is a duty.how is it that people who've never seen the source code, working in their free time, are able to fix utterly critical issues better than the people who are literally paid to make the game work
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youThat's a very good question...
Optimism is a duty.Maybe the programmers knew but did nothing about it because if they did fix it, Rockstar would stop paying them extra for trying to fix the problem.
I doubt they pay them extra to fix it.
And if they're really that toxic about their jobs, they should be fired.
Optimism is a duty. This strikes me as a creativity issue rather than a job security issue yeah. Maybe it makes the game less secure?
Also, why is this game so uniquely full of hackers
Even fortnite doesn't get hacked like this
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youBecause it is wildly popular and quite old.
Optimism is a duty.Well, that's good news then. Shorter load times for everyone. Shame we had to wait like seven years for it.
Optimism is a duty.I have a weird glitch during the Yacht missions where a Swift will be parked on top of the hot tub during the mission. It even respawns there.
Is anyone else having that happen?
Optimism is a duty.Online summer updates and release date for next gen versions of V and Online.
In Los Santos, car culture is back on the streets in a big way, with new opportunities for fans of performance and customization upgrades to get together with like-minded gearheads to test and show off their rides free from interference from authorities and other troublemakers. The renewed interest is bringing a new underground car meet into the area, along with new additions to the local racing scene — and demand for stolen vehicles has never been higher.
Expect high stakes and high action as crews hit the streets to get hold of the latest vehicles on the hot list, challenge each other in new race types, or take part in a series of multi-part robbery missions, where a precisely modified getaway vehicle will be your best weapon — all later this summer.
To help gear up for GTA Online’s summer update, eight new Stunt Races are right around the corner, coming to the GTA Online Stunt Series on May 27th. These new tracks will introduce an array of white-knuckle thrills for stunt racers in an assortment of vehicle classes.
Shortly thereafter, fans of the futuristic Deadline mode will get seven new arenas in which to obliterate opponents with their Shotaro bike’s explosive light trail. If eradicating waves of armed resistance is more your appetite, Survival mode will also expand to new locations throughout Los Santos and Blaine County.
While the standalone version of GTA Online will be available to players on both platforms, this new standalone version of GTA Online will be available for free exclusively to Play Station 5 players during the first three months. And Play Station Plus members on Play Station 4, make sure to claim your GTA$1,000,000 by visiting the Play Station Store at the start of each month — every month until the launch of GTA Online on Play Station 5.
With much more to be revealed, stay tuned to the Rockstar Newswire for details on future updates, weekly bonus-filled events and more in the weeks and months ahead.
Sounds fun, but I'd like to hear more about how the game will be upgraded for the next console.
Optimism is a duty.I’m still just wondering why they are even bothering with porting V to the new consoles as you can play the previous gen versions.
Okay I know the answer is most likely because V made so much money but it feels redundant to make next gen ports when the consoles can already play the previous gen versions.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Still feels redundant to me.
Anyways, I got the PS 4 version of San Andreas yesterday.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Oh, no argument there. But that is the justification, at least. And I guess we will be stuck with it for a while longer anyway, in any case.
Optimism is a duty. This is some great news: there is a new DLC for online... and it's going to feature Franklin post Union Depository!
I don't know why he would. My version of Franklin is a billionaire now after a string of mysterious assassinations and completely unrelated stock purchases, just like his two former colleagues.
Hell, at this point Franklin could just buy his entire old neighbourhood nice upscale homes and a lifelong pension. Not sure why he would ever go back to a life of crime.
Franklin's house in Online has been updated as well. There's now pool toys around, and a second dog bowl at Chop's doghouse... and a playground slide. Looks like this is definitely way in the future now.

Optimism is a duty.Yeah, DLC is out and it actually has a few missions where you play as Lamar and Franklin - justified as you (and a second player, potentially) smoking some extremely strong weed and having an "out of body experience". It's actually really cool seeing where these two are at now. To summarize:
- Tanisha's marriage to that shithead doctor fell apart and she got back with Franklin, and by and large the relationship has actually flourished - they even have multiple children!
- Lamar has also grown as a person... relatively speaking. He's still a lovably reckless, violent idiot, but he's realized the futility of the gangbanger lifestyle and is trying to go quasi-legit like Franklin, having started growing legal marijuana for a startup business he calls "LD Organics", which by the final mission with him and Franklin he's actually getting off the ground - turns out he's surprisingly great at viral marketing.

Grand Theft Auto Company Boss Isn't Sold On Video Game Subscription Services: Xbox is leaning into monthly payment models for the next-gen, and while it seems to be working out, not everyone is convinced.
