So in order to save Shooto, Shiningman gave him his genes. Well within expectations.

Well, at least we know a little bit more about what happened to Shooto. I never considered something as simple as a blood transfusion.

I wasn't expecting a simple blood transfusion either. Eh, works for me.

Chapter 52's out.

Ah the Origin Story.

Greatest of all stories. what would Super Hero-dom be without it?

A miserably pile of secrets perhaps?

Shiningman turns out to be a whole lot like Shuto, doesn't he? Almost like a father...

Yeah. I half expect him to be Shuuto's dad myself truthfully. There do seem to be some hints towards it (where is his dad anyway?)

His sisters would have been born around that time, I think.There's a drastic age difference between the twins and Shooto, which, considering the apparent absence of another male in the household (Maybe he's just a hikikomori?) lends credence to this theory.

It looks like Sin's father is Shiningman. Which would explain the similarities in their looks.

Chapter 53 is out.

Shiningman went a little to far with this.

Seems so. I'm not sure how to feel about the idea that Rio's dad is just innocent like that. What's worse, Shuuto was essentially mutated in order to become a weapon over misguided revenge. And now he may be carrying something very dangerous in him. Crea may have screwed up this kids life over nothing.

He was already mess up remember. Shiningman was the one who gave blood and skin for his back.

Oh right. But would anything have come of it if not for Crea and Jackal? I mean, would it have been a dangerous thing later, or would it have just gone on sitting inside his body without any way to activate?

Well we don't know what would happen. He probably would of became Shiningman 2 for all we know.

Well chapter 54 is out.

Well Shuuto memory was altered to hide the fact of the transfusion. Sin appear again.

That bastard. Hopefully, Shuuto will whoop his ass anyway.

Also, his shirt has the Avengers symbol on it.

Well Chapter 55 is out. The end is so close that I can taste it.

Sin is going down now. Time for the smallest hero to kick ass and take names.

I supposed the only question left to ask is why Sin wants to destroy all the heroes.

Sin is recreating the incident from 10 years ago....I feel like I'm missing something....when did Shiningman disappear?

Sometime after Shuuto was rescued, if I remember a few chapters back. It was the point where he was showing signs of losing control.

Well, shit's are getting real now ain't it?

Phew, nice to have some quality back. Rat Man may not be high art, but it's better then Naruto right now.

I'm ambivalent to Bleach, so it gets a pass.

I hope they clear up my questions about Shiningman before the end because we don't have a lot of details about that time.

Chapters 57 up to 60 have been posted. Rat Man is finally done.

Not much to say. I liked it, and I liked this comic. It was simple, and a nice celebration of the concept of the Super Hero.

Sometimes I think Japan gets it better than the west does truthfully.

I was super excited when I saw that this finally updated after a year, only to realize that I didn't remember what the recent conflict was or who the current characters were. Had to re-read about eight of the previous chapters before looking at the new stuff.

Solid ending, nice to see that the previous heroes and even the Jackies had a role in the final battle. The anti-ratman antidote and the blessed sword attack seemed to come out of nowhere; maybe they were mentioned or touched upon a while back and I simply forgot about it.
