During the yotsuba arc after being cleared If Misa had walked to L and said "so I met a shingama and told me Users can lose their memories but can never gain them back unless they write their own name in the book and Me and Light used to be Kiras but we are good people now and the other Kira is Higuchi I win! yay!"...... how quickly would she have been killed?

She'd get to live a few more days so L could milk her for more information/torture her into helping them, and then she'd be tried and executed within the week.

In the short panel when LL mentions the BB murder cases after Misoras death I always thought the unnamed guy pictured under her was BB without all the makeup and cosmetic altering.

I've never read the novel, so I wouldn't be able to say...

You're talking about page 172 in the second volume right? Well, I checked the manga and I think you might be right. Although no name is visible, there's six boxes followed by a dash and then 8 boxes. B's real name is Beyond Birthday right?

How many letters are in Beyond? Six How many letters are in Birthday? Eight

So there's some credibility to your theory. Although he looks older than L which is rather unexpected considering I had thought he would be a successor.

Doesnt pretty much every character look older than L? hes so childish..... and yes that is his real name.

Light looks older than L, so...

Light's sister looked older than L!

And I still think it's dumb someone actually named their son a letter. No wonder he's so messed up.

I've got to admit, I never understood why people are so in love with L. I like him well enough and he's one of my favorite characters, but he's never struck me as particularly dynamic and seems rather static throughout the series. Is it his odd mannerisms or something else?

1.Hes quirky. 2. Hes funny. 3. Hes the top 3 detectives ever. 4. Hes easily the most creative and easy human I in the series I can cosplay as

I guess. But Matsuda is quirky and funny and doesn't have nearly as large of a fan base. In fact, I've always been surprised at how few Matsuda fans there are. Death Note isn't huge on characterization, in comparison to plot at least, but I though Matsuda (along with Light) had some of the best development.

Indeed. But Matsuds doesn't make for entertaining pictures as well. Plus it would be a bland costume.

Team Matsuda for the win. Definitely needed more screentime, in my opinion.
