Before Todd uttered the name out loud I had been being unconsciously reading it as "Tootsie Slide" the whole time.

Drake's popularity seems to be self-sustaining at this point. He's big, and thus everything he does gets a lot of attention, even if it's not interesting in its own right.

If this is research for an episode, it could be a few things. A (US-viewpoint) OHW of the Corrs? A Trainwreckords for the Cars' "Door To Door"?

Would The Corrs count as OHWs in this regard, though? In the US, they were always more at home on the Adult Contemporary charts, but they did have two songs that made it onto the Billboard top 100 (being 'Runaway' at 68 and 'Breathless' at 34).

They did find a curious amount of success in Spain as well, for what that's worth.

Actually, going by his current tweets, it looks like the next Trainwreckord will be about Guns N Roses (likely Chinese Democracy, though Spaghetti Incident would be more interesting to talk about).

That Shampoo song isn't even the best song that Americans only had on album when it was released as part of the Power Rangers movie soundtrack. That honor goes to "Sensurround" by They Might Be Giants.

Hmm,,considering that didnt really derail either of their careers (Allman had the biggest hit of his career by 1987 with I'm No Angel, and Cher never lost her popularity), I'd consider that more of a bump in the road than an actual trainwreckord (of course, he's also considered doing St. Anger which is also a bump in the road so maybe he's changing the criteria).

I was into Cher's music as a kid but i didn't know about this album, my mom probably deliberately spared me from it.

Funny that Todd prefers Cher's arena rock era since that era included a duet with his arch-nemesis Peter Cetera.
