I'm just waiting for the moment where the adrenaline and the weirdness of everything drops and the reality of her last few hours hits Sydney like a ton of bricks. It's what I've been waiting for this whole chapter, really.
Bullying a Dragon is just so much fun to include sometimes.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.I can't tell, is Sydney in that first panel? There's blonde standing next to Cora, but there are no orbs.
She's probably hiding them.
"Oh, no, it's a melted femur."
Hehehe.
When she said she'd been born a quadriplegic, my brain went straight to Redd before I remembered that it doesn't mean she didn't have those limbs, just no control over them.
My 5 creds are on her making the second "Born without a gag reflex" joke Dabbler did during the press conference.
"You can reply to this Message!"New strip is up. Yes, flashback within a flashback. And the rant basically admits to overdoing the universal constants.

= Spindriver =...now that I think of it, we haven't caught up to the start of the strip yet, have we? It hasn't been a month since Sydney joined Archon.
...we're going to be here a while yet...
Oh, and it was supposed to be missing limbs... got it.
And honestly, "abusing the immobile handicapped person" goes outside the team of "cringe comedy" into just plain "cringe", but I get where the joke is supposed to be going. I guess I just have a darker mind about how often bullying overlaps with sexual assault for women.

I'm not entirely convinced that said "cringe" is accidental.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.I like to think these bullies have found themselves facing poetic justice in cruel and hilarious ways.
Yeah and now they probably work at Space Mc Donalds and Cora is captain of a starship...
"You can reply to this Message!"...with a bridge crew of hand-picked male hotties of various species.
One does hope that limb suit of hers has a carefully programmed "Fornication" configuration profile.
= Spindriver =She knows Dabbler. I think this is obvious.
"You can reply to this Message!"If modern technology has taught me anything, anyone with access to it will invariably think about how to adapt it to carnal pleasures. So I'm assuming that, even on the wildly small chance that Cora is asexual and not interested in anyone who'd pay her to set it up, someone has figured it out.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Oh, I’m sure that the setting exists. It’s the “carefully programmed” bit that I’m worried about. For the guys’ sake.
= Spindriver =Remember, friends with Dabbler.
The big question is, what form did she settle on that Sydney is so excited about?
So these are all forms that she's previously put the effort into programing, which like, makes me seriously question what she utilised a Dabbler skin for. Well, she can't pass as Dabbler because she has the wrong number of limbs, which makes me think it was something Dabbler requested...?
So she and Dabbler could pull of a Twin Threesome Fantasy?
And Maxima even already warned Sydney about how air traffic is important to consider even at Earth-level tech. Of course, it's hardly out of character for Sydney (especially when all geeking out... and possibly literally off her meds) for Sydney to not be remembering that.
