Interview:

One or two Gun Game-based modes, nice. And Molotovs, too. And an intentional Cherry Tapping weapon.

I've been playing in the beta for about the last three months and I really like it. I've never really cared for Counter-Strike (I would even go as far as saying I dislike it), except for the botmatches in Condition Zero, but I've had a lot of fun with this one. I think part of it is that the beta was initially limited to 5v5, so I was able to practice in a less chaotic environment. For whatever reason I just like this one.

They recently added new models so that each map has it's own unique models, but it leads to some hilarious narm. For instance, the terrorists on Office are hipsters. I'm not kidding, they have skinny jeans and everything. Also, one of the CT's on Dust seems to be wearing a mushroom on his head (some people call it inflatable bread). The terrorists on Italy are.... interesting.

Suddenly, this validates the quote in my signature.

[up][up]Suddenly, I'm even more interested.

Actually, screw it, why not? It's brand new, but only about $13

[up] I'm actually a bit surprised that it's so cheap, considering that Source is $20 and that's been out for over half a decade.

I'm betting it'll be $15 for a few months then go F2P.

I've played all of five minutes in practice but already love how freaking response these controls are.

Valve's games always have awesome controls (and performance). I don't care what anyone says, the Source engine is awesome.

I'm calling it right now, someone is going to make a skin that gives the Italy terrorists Rorschach's mask.

Yes, I'd only played it a few times but I recognized it as nuke immediately.

Picked it up the other day, because what's $13?

Super impressed. It is faster-paced than both the original game (I haven't played much CS: Source) and most other FPSs I've played recently.

I also love Arms Race.

Apparently, you're slowed down more carrying the AUG (less than 4 kg) than the M24 (10 kg). I find that hilarious.

EDIT: Also hilarious: Molotov cocktails cost over eight hundred dollars. What, do hipster terrorists only use vintage wine bottles?
