I think you should focus on the YKTTW instead.

The YKTTW for "Rock Paper Scissors System" isn't faring too well when people are duplicating examples specifically from Tactical Rock–Paper–Scissors.
But that's another topic entirely.
This article is currently written as if it's exclusive to the strategy genre, but RPS as a tactical gameplay mechanic exists in a variety of non-strategy genres, too. For example, in a fighting game Defend beats Attack, Throw beats Defend, Attack beats Throw — a textbook RPS relationship which affects the tactical play of a match.
Can we broaden this?
