I'm thinking third person shooter as well, though maybe more of an overhead view, like Diablo.
Trailer is awesome. Only problem I have is that I'll be getting All 4 One this year, and I feel this might be very similar. Don't want to buy the same game twice, yah know?
Dreamkeepers Prelude, check it out!Idk, it seems that in this one, each character is a lot more specialized than in All 4 One. I'd imagine this one will have a lot more cooperation in the combat while All 4 One will have more cooperation in the puzzles.
Saw some gameplay of it while reviewing the content. Imagine Splinter Cell with 4 player co op and cartoon(not super realistic) graphics with all players having a special ability. also some of the main character designs have changed since I last saw them( mostly Jacob Afro FTW)
Overstrike has recently been re-revealed as Fuse, and here are some impressions:
It sound big on co-op, and you can jump from character to character in single player. The art style has also changed slightly.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau Project... Yeah, not digging the more serious approach. I didn't even know what kind of game Overstrike was but I was still interested in it because of the art style and humor. So they sort of got rid of the one thing that attracted me to it.
Bummer.
Bleye knows Sabers. The humour will still be there apparently, but the style is different.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectOk, I'm not liking the art design changes. I actually liked the original design, since it made it look like one of those superspy/action hero cartoons like the Secret Saturdays, Johnny Quest, the incredibles, etc. Now it's just another generic third person squad-based shooter.

Not really. The designs may be more generic now but the animations are Pixar-ish, especially the Mouth Flaps. Immediately brought TF 2 to mind.
Apparently this is Bloodier and Gorier too. Sooooo... Another M-rated shooter.
Bleye knows Sabers.Another great example of why you shouldn't listen to 12-year olds.

I... I think I'm gonna be sick. Why would you ask 12-year old boys, who are often trying desperately to be older and "edgy" and thus write grimdark Sonic and Final Fantasy fanfics, their opinion about fucking video games?
EIGHT GLORIOUS SIDES...isn't this game supposed to be rated M?
Why would you have 12 year olds give their opinion on a game they clearly aren't old enough to play yet?
Daily reminder that casualization is killing video games.

Remember! Hyperbole is an exaggeration made for comedic effect, and shouldn't be taken literally! That raises the question of what audience were they attempting to attract in the first place. If a bunch of 12 year olds were the influencing factor, then I'd venture a guess that they didn't bother sampling it with the older groups.
I mean seriously, if a show like MLP:FIM can lure in such a massive fanbase that also consists of quite a few adults, then what made them think that the original design might not fit?
Fuse let me pretty disappointed. It dropped out 50% of my hype for this game, at least for now. I loved the "charisma" of Overstrike characters. :/
Still, I hope Fuse get at least some funny jokes during the game sometimes, just for fun.
Just go for it!minor necro but if anyone wants to know why I call myself a "bitter gamer", its shit like this.
About that focus test thing...there's a side note on the bottom of the OP saying that the style refers to the one before the E3 Overstrike trailer, not what was actually seen in that trailer.
Have they commented on the negative feedback?
I remember when Borderlands switched their gritty looks for more cartoony visuals the reaction was extremely good and Gearbox took pride in it.
I believe the same may have happened to Team Fortress Two but I won't make presumptions.

Bleye knows Sabers.Their EA overlords wont let them.
That's pointlessly accusatory.
Even an attempt at positive spin hasn't happened?
Bleye knows Sabers. They've been completely silent ever since the change.
I think they tried to spin it as "Our comedy just changed to one of dry snark!" but thats it.

Saw the changes, was not amused. My friends who were waiting to pre-order were less amused. Way to go people.
Looks fun, does anyone know what genre it is? I'm guessing TPS.
