A shame, but not unexpected.
If one's a longtime fan of webcomics, one learns to accept that this is a possibility. Nothing lasts forever, and webcomics are a lot of work for little reward.
I can't even count how many webcomics I've become invested in over the years only to see them cancelled.
Disgusted, but not surprisedYeah, it sucks but it's inevitable. At least she intends to tell us how the rest of the story was gonna play out—I was pretty invested in this story.
Your funny quote here! (Maybe)That's... sad. I can't say I'll be as invested in the story in a written format, to be perfectly honest.

"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Tweets from Gigi since yesterday:
Man, I fell out of this comic because of all the hiatuses, but it always hurts to see an artist's passion project get abandoned.
Finally read through it. Ohhhh, what a way to end it! What a cliffhanger! I'm sad.
Still, I'm glad to know the story will be finished, even if it won't be the same. There's no point in Gigi forcing herself to draw for years on something that isn't giving her the same joy as it once did.
I finally got around to reading the ending of chapter 5. It's anticlimactic, comes out of nowhere and is unrelated to most things that happened previously in the chapter; but somehow I really liked it. Both the developments between Quakemaster and the Nightmare Knight and with the Dream Oracle and Nautilus were pretty good. I'm also surprised by how short it was. We were apparently much closer to the ending than I expected. It's possible that the ending was shortened due to the time issues, but I'm having a hard time figuring out what was added, since Quakemaster had to get taken out by the Nightmare Knight. Maybe a fight with Quakemaster where the heroes lose and/or a fight with the Dream Oracle (where the hereos also lose).
Sad, but I can't fault her. Being a webcomic creator seems like a pretty thankless endeavor.
